I read an exit interview with him and there were other chairs. He said they should have gone with those.

They both should have gone, I don't think he was entirely at fault at all.

I liked Dom but I do feel he relied on his artwork too much. He got lucky in the zoo because his art was the focal point of the whole thing but it wasn’t enough to carry him. The leg extenders were a dreadful idea, but I can imagine finding the chairs and getting carried away.

Didn't Ben also have chairs too short for his table? He solved it by cutting down the table.

Ben's table was too high rather than the chairs being too low. The table wasn't originally designed to be sat at.

Just leaving a pile of plastic plants and trellis over here in the corner where they won’t be in anyone’s way.

I'm staying in a caravan with banquettes. They are extremely uncomfortable and look like they were built in my son's A level DT class. They do seat a lot of people in a small space though.

I'm glad Domnall is out - him churning out the set of graphic illustrations every week was getting tiresome. The only time I thought it was appropriate was in the zoo learning centre.

Really liking Matt but I think Roisin will be a bit of a dark horse.

Also Ben is so hilarious and fun to watch - I hope he can relax a bit about social media. He seems so confident in who he is it surprises me a little that's he feels the need to come on here defending himself!

Am I the only person who didn't like Banjo? I thought he was a pita

I found him irritating too, but I didn't really like anyone from that series.

I liked Banjo, loved his hotel room . Also liked Molly and don’t think she should’ve gone on the shops episode, should’ve been Paul . Also liked Rochelle and hope she’s found the confidence to pursue a career interior design.

It annoys me that it's called "Y shed" when it should be "Y sied". Don't start the name Welsh and finish in English!

I’m glad it wasn’t just me, and I’m not Welsh. And surely them referring to it as ‘the why shed’ was a tautology.

I had no idea the Y was Welsh... I heard them call it something like "ur shed" (and I know that wasn't the pronunciation, I'm working from vague memory here) and assumed the Y was actually a rune or something. I was crocheting whilst watching so mostly I was listening and looking up - it wasn't til the end that I saw it was a Y on the signs.

it makes more sense now (and also less given "shed" isn't Welsh).

I have just remembered that I will be out tomorrow night (assuming our babysitter doesn't have to cancel) so I'll have to catch up later.

I actually really like that red that Ben’s using (my home office/study is a similar colour and I love it) - but maybe a bit bold for a bedroom.

I quite like that red. Not as bright as thought would be. I do love Matt though and his style.

The theme this week is supposed to be for renters. Speaking as a LL, not a cat in hell’s chance I’d be letting a tenant paint everything deep red…. And for that reason, I suspect our Spanish friend will be off…

Ah yes that is true. I moved into a relatively new build many years ago and the precious tenant had a bright red bedroom. It gave me migraines and it had to be the first room we redecorated.
