Since I posted my comment about binging Soldier Soldier, I found it and have just started season 4. Read into that what you will but I call it time well spent, I forgot how brilliant a series it was and how much I loved Paddy Garvey.

Back to Casualty does anyone else think we need a big explosion or farming accident?

Must admit, by the end of the last episode I was thinking it's about time Siobhan slapped him about the head and sent him off to therapy.

Considering with 2 pages to go this thread is almost over, does anybody have any ideas/suggestions for the next thread title?

No she's not - she can have the pregnancy terminated up to the point of birth. I think it was mentioned (when she was telling Ngozi the baby had DS and her friend had ghosted her). Not sure the writers would go there though.

Is anyone else wondering when/if they are going to address the glaring age difference between Siobhan and Rich?

I dont think there is a glaring age difference is there? I think Siobhan has just aged badly and Rich has that annoying (slightly) silver fox thing going on that seems to only work for men.

Am I the only one that was expecting the gamer lad to be extremely over weight? I felt like we were being set up for a need to winch him out the window scenario.

It’s always struck and if you go by the ages of the actors playing them there’s 17 years difference.

I’d have thought that casting must have been deliberate but I may be wrong.

What a complicated episode, lots going on.

I thought it was lovely that they emphasised how the gamer lad did have friends, and they were the reason he got medical help so quickly. It happens pretty often in real life. We're too quick to discount online friendships but they're just as real and important in peoples' lives.

Iain confronting Sonny was pretty powerful.

I thought it was going to have been the brother hurting the diabetic boy because he didn't want to go to uni. Is it just going to be left at that? That both Dylan and Sophia know that the mother is hurting her child but because her son is giving up on leaving home it's going to stop happening? I really hope that gets followed up in a future episode because otherwise that has to be negligence. The adult son essentially told them what was happening, she's abusing both of her sons.

When Dylan and Sophia were in the pub she said "would you rather be on the boat snuggling up with Dervla". Dervla was put to sleep a couple of weeks ago.😒

I think she knows that. And knows he would prefer that.

Poor Siobhan, my eyes leaked a bit for her 😢

The pub scene was baffling. I honestly don’t know what was going on - why was Sophia being so weird?

The scene at the end between Rich and Siobhan was really uncomfortable viewing too.
