Thing is as there is a video it's proof teddy was sexually abused so hopefully jan will say something as was on shift and needs to be reported

purpleme12 · 13/05/2024 20:24

It's up to Teddy though really isn't it

bizzey · 13/05/2024 20:31

They won a BAFTA ...!

But it was squeezed into the ..
.
Other awards won tonight section !

hoarahloux · 18/05/2024 22:42

Rida 😭

FourLeggedBuckers · 18/05/2024 23:16

Well that was dramatic. I was briefly worried Rash might jump off the roof. Or at least drop his phone!

OMG so was I! On both counts! There's been so many dramatic scenes on the roof in both Casualty and Holby (oh lord, how much do I miss Holby!!)

Wonder what will happen to Rida? Surely they can't sack her as a whistleblower?

I think we were meant to think Rash was going to jump. Instead he's going to grass up poor Rida.

spiderlight · 19/05/2024 11:55

I hope she confesses before he grasses on her.

I miss Holby too :(

Mysa74 · 19/05/2024 14:51

Poor Rash really isn't himself these days. The old Rash would have been straight in there giving his friend a hug and trying to fix things...

spiderlight · 19/05/2024 17:07

He still blames her for his dad's death though.

Oh he totally does, which is so unfair! I think Rida will confess before he touts on her.

One in the eye for horrible Patrick who thinks he's got Rash all sewed up!

NameChangeAgain0224 · 21/05/2024 07:16

Something seems very amiss about Rash. It’s like he’s disconnected with reality.

Does everyone remember Henrik’s son in Holby who went crazy and eventually went on a killing spree in the hospital and started shooting random staff?

I fear Rash is going the same way.

Take cover everyone!!

AnImaginaryCat · 21/05/2024 08:01

Rash and the Pocketed Clamp needs to meet Nash & Keogh v Onlev sooner rather than later (I hope).

Wish they'd stop making nice characters into someone totally different first Ethan now Rash. They better not mess with Rida but it looks like they are.

I really don’t want Casualty to go the way of Holby. I want to stay vaguely realistic here.

LIZS · 26/05/2024 09:05

Last night's seemed confusing. Just who was the dead man in the car they found first. Still no further exposing the whistleblower? One minute Rash is golden boy , next he's out. Has Faith been set up to fail? Teddy suspended. Is there a cast refresh coming up?

UsernameChangerRanger · 26/05/2024 09:46

It's such a strange series this one. The pregnant doctor (probably going to have a the TFMR Vs keep it struggle as the mum will reject it), Rash and Teddy losing the plot, mean old Patrick, Iain and Faith back on again, Rida being the whistleblower, Holby paying absolutely no attention to the NHS Whistleblowing policy or any NHS Policy...

AnImaginaryCat · 26/05/2024 10:23

Yes the dead man in the car just seemed to be forgotten. I assumed at the start he was the woman's boyfriend but the he rocked up after speading time with another woman, seemingly. Complicated life arrow woman is living! Maybe dead man was another boyfriend!!

There's a bit too much going on and it's all a bit stop starty!!

spiderlight · 26/05/2024 11:05

The dead man was a delivery driver - there was a brief shot of a little pile of parcels on his passenger seat. Poor sod is probably still there!

longtompot · 26/05/2024 19:56

So is the woman the nurse is surrogate for her sister? She said the accident was the nurses fault and why she couldn't carry a baby naturally.

It made me cry when Teddy was telling Jodie about the assault. I really hope he gets some help. I'd love him to press charges against the vile woman, but that might be too far for him.

I thought when Rash was talking to Stevie (I think it was) about the missing pills he meant about him getting accused of things he hadn't done as a scapegoat, as was Faith.

spiderlight · 26/05/2024 20:45

I liked the fact that there really had been a leopard on the loose 😆

longtompot · 26/05/2024 21:36

@spiderlight I meant to mention that too. I loved that bringing in the person/keeper who was attacked by the leopard was such an aside in this episode that you could have blinked and missed it.

WhatICallMyUsername · 26/05/2024 21:43

There was an episode a few weeks ago where a Policewoman was alone in an open area with a load of people closing in on her and we never saw her again! I think they sometimes edit too much!

FoxSticks · 26/05/2024 23:59

Surely having a crossbow fired at you is mitigating circumstances for punching someone who attacked you. Even without knowing about the sexual assault being held under seige must be enough to get Teddy out of trouble?

The first thing I said when he said that was “there’ll be a news report or another patient come in having been mauled by a real leopard now” - it’s almost like I’ve been watching Casualty for too long, I’ve got inside the minds of the writers 😂

She's a doctor. We don't know why her sister is disabled but yeah it seems like it was Nicole's fault somehow.
