I think the video just showed Patrick ill the room with the patient who died, which he hadn't mentioned. It's inconclusive so that they can string out the storyline a bit.

In a way it's a bit refreshing having a doctor who is not instantaneously brilliant, as most of them are.

No I didn't mean that video. I know what that showed.

I meant the video about Teddy

EBearhug · 05/05/2024 01:15

I assume the video of Teddy was from one of the hens in the ambulance because of Jan telling him he'd been assaulted.

purpleme12 · 05/05/2024 01:22

Yes I got that.

LIZS · 05/05/2024 07:46

They were waving his boxers around for the camera. Hen said something like "you said I 'd never manage it".

I thought Patrick was giving Rash and his cousin opportunities to keep them onside. Is Rash really so naive as to challenge him without fear of repercussion? Is Patrick not wearing a bodycam?

NameChangeAgain0224 · 05/05/2024 08:00

The video showed Teddy lying on his back (I’m guessing being held down) and one of the women pulling down his paramedic trousers. It then focused on something else for a few moments before returning back to the woman who had been taking his trousers down to then show her waving his boxers around, so she’d obviously pulled them off him too after she’d pulled off his trousers.

Patrick was going to be such a villain!!

Remember that crazy consultant from Holby many years ago who was friends with Henrik Hansen and he purposefully put a colleague into a “locked in” coma and was doing all kind of weird experimental treatments on patients without them knowing?

Rash is such a wimp - he knows what he saw and he should have gone to Stevie and Dylan immediately, not question Patrick in the lift with an obvious accusatory tone.

My guess is that Rash is now going to be found dead somewhere in suspicious circumstance.

Wonkypictureframe · 05/05/2024 08:51

Oh, I hope it doesn’t go down the Holby route. I stopped watching as it got so silly.

purpleme12 · 05/05/2024 09:28

@LIZS @NameChangeAgain0224 thanks for explaining. Somehow I missed it

I think the cameras have to be turned on by the wearer, rather than them running all the time. I guess it's for privacy of patients so they only film if a staff member feels threatened.

Optimist1 · 05/05/2024 10:52

Anyone else transfixed by Stevie's perfect skin?

FourLeggedBuckers · 06/05/2024 11:45

I hadn’t noticed Stevie’s skin, but I’m pretty much transfixed by how perfect she is generally 😂

I enjoyed her absolute lack of interest in Jacob’s grandkid.

BlossomToLeaves · 06/05/2024 12:58

me too, and it's kind of a good test of my prejudices, because I keep trying to convince myself that she must be nice and not such a bitch, when really she is often quite horrible to people.

Girlontherailreplacementbusservice · 06/05/2024 13:01

I like Stevie but perfect? Nah she no Jac Naylor.

FourLeggedBuckers · 06/05/2024 16:01

I never liked Jac Naylor at all. She really was a bitch. Although I stopped watching Holby a good while before it finished so maybe she had a character arc I missed. But yea, in the early days she was awful.

Stevie’s very much my kind of human.

NameChangeAgain0224 · 06/05/2024 16:43

Stevie is much much nicer character than Jac Naylor.

Jac had no redeeming qualities about her and it felt like the script writers just characterised her as The Bitch for the sake of it.

I will admit that she had beautiful skin though 😂

Lookingatthesunset · 06/05/2024 18:03

I loved Jac Naylor - her one-liners and her putdowns!! She did mellow a bit over time. She had close relationships with Elliott, Fletch and Sacha.

Rosie Marcel, Guy Henry and Bob Barrett went on a trip to Romania recently to rescue dogs. I loved all their characters and I really miss Holby City!

Stevie is little bit Jac, with the sarcasm and the one liners. Brilliant character too.

Cattyisbatty · 06/05/2024 20:40

I prefer Stevie to Jac although I stopped watching Holby quite a long time before it finished.

Girlontherailreplacementbusservice · 06/05/2024 21:42

Jac had a (very well hidden) soft streak. For all her spikiness she would never stab someone in the back just because she could. She had lovely relationships with several of her colleagues.
I think some of you have forgotten that Stevie was hell bent on revenge when she joined the ED and almost killed poor Ethan.

But I mostly referring to her physical perfection.
Those cheek bones, that hair!

purpleme12 · 06/05/2024 21:44

She's definitely had quite the turnaround!

AnImaginaryCat · 07/05/2024 17:44

She really has. I thought she was a bit of a caricature but I really like her now. I especially loved her reaction to Jacob's grandson.

Just caught up. I don't think Patrick was deliberate sabotage. I think he just thought he knew best and didn't like Stevie challenging him so did it anyway.

Would Jan have a duty of care to Teddy to report the video as it happened on a shift? Even if he didn't want her to.

Jacob was annoying with that smiley face keyring. I kept saying to DH has he even taken the baby out of the car seat?! I actually expected it to fall out when he handed him to Faith

I was more surprised that they actually showed a baby in a car seat wearing a thick coat when it’s a big safety no-no. You could see the straps were quite loose around the baby as a result of the coat.

Blondeshavemorefun · 09/05/2024 20:58

Finally seen. Almost a week late - that's typical for me for casualty 😂

Patrick really is a shit isn't he

Glad rash saw the clamp and said something

But surprised no one else saw or checked

Poor teddy. But glad Ian knows now

Decafflatteplease · 13/05/2024 18:56

I can't see any on iPlayer from Saturday? Has the series ended?
