Stacey and Suki are 2 of The 6 , Stacey probably doesn't want to involve Eve because it'd put her in a really awkward situation (I mean, how DO you explain that your wife and your partner are involved in the death of one man and the GBH of the partners husband ? )

But ......fear not . We willl soon(ish) have Nadine who is studying Law/ Dealing drugs/ working as an Escort /Sex worker as the New Dodgy Lawyer On The Square

Johnny qualified by standing at the Bar in the Queen Vic ( poor lamb obviously didn't realise that when a Lawyer is called to The Bar , it;s a different meaning )

Once Jay gets over the shock he can be a SAHD to the baby and StepDad to Lexi and Nadine can go and get on with her studies .
Would Jay even think to insist on a DNA test or is he just blindsided by Nadine ?

I thought Jay would end up with Gina. Maybe not the best though as they are both former addicts (although Jay’s drug addiction lasted 5 minutes)

So weird seeing Bobby joining in as everyone reminisced about Lucy. What is even stranger is that no-one, including Cindy, ever mentions Steven. Poor guy has been completely forgotten😭

They never mention Steven , plus Cindy is a Nan to baby Abby as well and Max is the grandad.
Which means that Cindy has links to the Brannings. Not that I've ever seen her speak to Lauren or Penny.

Oh I'm certain that the new Mitchell Madam Lexi will insist that Jay has a parternity test done asap and probably sort it out for him herself.
It may well be a false pregnancy ( according to Facebook ) which I don't think has been done before ? Not sure.
Not keen on Nadine though , the wardrobe just found Lola's old clothes and have recycled them

When Max rolls back to the Square ( I'm not sure that he ever will but this is Eastenders , they are all caught in a permenant revolving door ) he will 100% have a fling with Cindy .

Because - he goes for blondes in a big way
She is Ian's wife and there is no love lost bewteen Max'n;Ian
Eastenders like pairing up grandparents ( Phil+Emma. Jack+ Stacey)
George won't leave Elaine to run off with Cindy ( he must realise she is toxic) so Cindy will want to make him jealous ( she full on snogged Ian in the Vic as George kissed Elaine . Ian must've thought it was Christmas )

Steven's exit storyline was one of Eastenders best slow build ups

He was terrorising Ian for months making him believe that he was being stalked by Cindy .

He was a nasty character but quite sad deep down, he wasn;t dealt the best deck of cards in life was he ?

Steven was always used as a football by Cindy / Wicksy Pat and Ian to argue about

Oh too much here! I did hear somewhere maybe here that the actor who plays Max was asked to return but said no.

I didn't realise that he was written out of the soap in 2021 but I think it was a bad move to do so. Because then you move on.

I was trying to think of a list of actors/actresses I really liked from the soap but it's way too early for me to do this!

Why the F did they let Keegan go though? Tiff was nice but getting a bit annoying.

It must be so hard if you're younger (or older) and suddenly you have a regular slot on EE or another soap especially if you're very recognisable. Can imagine it's so easy for you to fall off the rails if you're inclined to do so.

And that's not even counting if you're a villain like Trevor (Mo's husband), looked for him on Wiki but seems to have been inactive since 2016, but that's a brief search.

Just gone down a wormhole googling old Lucy Beale actresses, Melissa Suffield (now 31!) - the first Lucy - who's now an Instagram mother and the second one, Hetti Bywater (now 29!) who still acts (I think?) but is also prob an Influencer. Hetti is stunning bless her but so slim. What these two women have in common is they've been body shamed, Melissa for post partum body weight and Hetti for being too slim. Yes, I know, sharing pics on SM will attract criticism but don't body shame people!

I am so pleased I was born in early 70s when none of this was around! SM, the body shaming was real though.

Back in Stephen's days - Cindy was proper 'bad', wasn't there a shooting, something to do with a baby and a flat? Are they on old EE classic programmes?

Cindy was definitely properly common (rough) back then, looks and everything, I knew someone who looked a bit like her and she changed her image because she got abuse from people, thinking she was Cindy. Name calling etc.

Fun fact and I'm sure I've said it before here, Lola Pearce (Danielle Harold) is from Lewisham but moved to or hung out a lot in nearby Sydenham (near where I live) and she used to go to my current hairdressers in Sydenham but not where they are now (they started their new salon over lockdown). It's actually not that far from Lewisham to Sydenham but I don't know Lewisham that well, met someone over lockdown from there (had a few lockdown dates with him!) who'd moved to Ashford.

Apparently the blonde do she had in EE wasn't her natural look/style/colour (yeah I know it was dyed) but also she was quite shy and really really nice. Not sure where she was from exactly in that area as it's a mix of 'nicer' houses and then properly a bit rough the further down you go, but it's improved in recent years.

My hairdresser knew her before she started in EE and apparently

The guy who played trevor pops up in a few things he was in Chernobyl and recently he was in the drama Six Four with Kevin Mckidd and James cosmo.

Don't know how I've missed him!

Trevor has been in a few things. I think he is a good actor myself. Quite menacing.
He was properly scary in EE. A real nasty one.

Cindy has become a bit more classy lately with the clothes and hair. Maybe living abroad made her a bit less common? Hanging out in marbs with all those rich bods had an effect!
Danielle Heard was on the celebrity' bridge of lies ' quiz show last week and looked fabulous.
She seems a nice person and I hope she gets some more acting roles

Is baby Abi supposed to be with Tanya?

Baby Abby is with Max ( he went off with her ) last time we saw them both .

Which episode did Nadine tell Jay about the baby? I tried to find it on iplayer but could only see the hour long one about Yolanda? Is it in the middle of that one? If so would anyone be able to fill me in on that storyline and why Jay would believe it’s his?

Why would she make up a story like that? For money?

I watched Six Four but managed to not notice Trevor at all!

That makes sense re needing more time to edit in the Marathon. I hope there isn't too much of that though.

He was the police officer that helped James cosmos character.

I think it was in the middle of the hour long episode. Can’t remember which shows how memorable the scene was😭

She told Jay he was her only punter at the time and the dates all match up etc. I find it hard to understand an experienced escort/sex worker having unprotected sex with a random punter but there you go.

I’ve read on this thread that it’s a rumoured fake pregnancy. She showed Jay a very prominent looking (covered) baby bump so unless she had some kind of fake appendage under her top I’m not sure how.

There was no hint of her being short of money, quite the opposite. She had a nice flat and was using her earnings to pay for a Law degree. I’m not sure where they are going with the storyline. Jay has always wanted kids so maybe this is leading to him settling with her so he realises his dream and the rest of the Mitchells turn against him, how could you do this to the memory of Lola etc.

I agree how would she know who the father was.
Why would she have the baby when she’s a student?
Why have a baby when she’s earning money as a sex worker?
It isn’t as if Jake is loaded. Surely she has other clients better off than him if it’s about money?

I agree re the Jay/Nadine storyline - where are they going with this? It seems really off key, why didn't she turn up earlier, what does she want from him - and how could this progress? I can't at all see Jay creating a relationship with her. I think she's pregnant but I doubt it's his.
