I like that Elaine's character is being developed.

What is with her and the nightwear though? It seems all of her outfits incorporate a piece of nightwear.

It's worse than Linda and her pink toddler outfits.

I liked Elaine on Wednesday, I don't understand her tops at all they do my head in!

I agree about Elaine’s outfits. I keep thinking she’s wearing a nightie and for some reason has just been got out of bed, but then she starts serving customers behind the bar.

I remember at the end of the 80s those nylon satin tops were in fashion maybe Elaine is stuck there!

The depiction of women on EE has always been problematic. They are mostly victims or otherwise devious schemers and there isn’t much nuance.

Poor Yolande. But I hope we don’t have months of her tortured crying and Patrick kissing his teeth and complaining what’s wrong with you maaan.

Good to see George’s uncle was nice and normal although he looked young enough to be Gloria’s son rather than her brother.

How many times are they going to rehash Lauren screeching at Whitney about Britney. I fast forward all their scenes.

No way would Whit have been able to enrol her in school without a birth certificate and proof that she lives in Walford. Her saying the school only needs paperwork “further down the line” was ridiculous. They cannot legally enrol her without verifying her identity.

I saw a thing today that Whitney gets Britneys mum to register her at the GPS I suspect there is going to be some blackmail and stealing money to pay her off coming up! Then you will get Lauren running about going Whit!whitwhit that's all Lauren says.

Mostly he is in the kiddie cupboard with the other ones ! Poor kid

I'm glad though.
I find the scenes with young kids are just fillers.

And the scenes with Nugget and his sister are irritating and dull.

I agree re Elaine's 'nightwear'! I think you're right and she is stuck in the 90s stylewise, including her hairdo. It's an odd look altogether.

Lauren is so screechy, I can't wait for Whitney to go now. I haven't got kids but you need ID for everything nowadays so enrolling in school seemed very unlikely!

When Cindy and George were in the gym together they looked like a couple, they are a good looking pair. Elaine and George just do not work aesthetically. Ian is a bit weasely looking as well so doesn’t suit Cindy. To be fair a lot of the couples are a bit of an odd match…Honey and Billy for example.

Linda is really doing my head in with the sippy cup now.

No, in real life people like George and Elaine probably wouldn't be a couple at all.
Just different personalities.
( I know opposites attract and so on. )
Cindy was never really happy with Ian and had affairs, tried to have him killed.
I think she was desperate on the run and he was willing to take her back because of their history.

Agree about Honey and Billy, what does Steve in him? It was annoying when they got back together last year.

I don’t find Cindy attractive at all. She’s well matched to Ian in the looks dept so they are a more believable couple.

And Elaine and George baffle me. What age are they supposed to be? Linda is pushing 50. Elaine must be 70/75? George isn’t young - late late 50s/earky 60s?(he’s nearer Linda’s age) yet Elaine looks more like George’s mum.

Some very unusual pairings sometimes !
I did read on fb that Nadine is having a fake pregnancy ! Again , no idea it's it's true

I thought Linda was early 40s so Elaine early 60s & George late 50s / early 60s. No idea of the actors real ages though.

I'd like George & Elaine to have more chemistry but there's just none there at all.

I preferred the old Linda's mum who wore normal clothes !
I don't mind Elaine tbh , but her and George are the odd couple and I doubt he'd have looked at her twice once she rocked up to Marbella. Plus he was still in love with Rose really.
I'm still smarting that they haven't told us what Rose was doing / living for nine years when she ran out on them all.
This has been airbrushed away (until she was found in France!)

I thought Linda was mid 40s, didn't her and Mick have joint 40th parties once? Might have dreamt that one though 😂
She had her first 3 children very young , close together

They had Lee at 14/15 didn't they so that would make Linda mid 40s.

I wonder where this Britney thing is going. Is Whitney going to go on the run with her? And didn't Britney have a little brother too - or did i misremember that bit. (And if so, where is he?)
I do like George as a character. I don't see him with Cindy I'm not keen on her character at all - and her back story just stretches credibility too much.
I like George and Phil together - I much prefer semi-human Phil to the dodgy crime boss character.

Britney did have a younger sibling as both of them were with Bianca having their tea.
(Unless it's another thing I've dreamt up !)
Not sure where Whitney could go apart from MK again ( in her position)
Next week Whit contacts the mum I believe, so maybe she will go back with her and stay with Bianca again ?

Wasn't Britney supposed to be deaf? They seem to have forgotten about that, did I imagine it?

So, G and C are closer in age then ! I thought he was closer to 60.
It was George's birthday the other week but they didn't say how old he was ( again , can't remember if they did or not , but I don't think so)

The incident when George’s real father was killed was supposed to be 1984 (if I’m remembering this right) and he said he was 15 then, so that would make him 55. The actor is 62.
I actually think he has better chemistry with Linda than Elaine.
