This is at UK pace so NO SPOILERS please!

(There are spoiler threads available to discuss everything happening outside of MAFS and episodes that haven’t been aired in the UK yet).

I was surprised that noone else picked up on Jack saying he wasn’t attracted to Tori at the boy’s workshop. It’s a shame Timothy went about it the way he did, because in reality, he’s not wrong and his assessment of the situation was bob on. The issue being, Tori has got her head so far in the sand with her Perfect Man Jack, that she won’t listen to a word anyone else said. So it was a waste of his breath.

There’s something about Jack that I really dislike- something sly, but I can’t put my finger exactly on what it is.

Also the fact Jack just sat there through the whole exchange. Never stuck up for Tori, never denied any of it. I suspect he’s only controlling and opinionated when it comes to women. He was loving sitting there listening to Tori wax lyrical about how amazing he was. Gross.

It's bad enough that this cliquey behaviour is being portrayed as being some kind of female empowerment (leaving other women out definitely isnt!!)

But none of them have actually told Sara that she is in the wrong (especially Tori who was happy enough to admit that on camera).

If my friend was treating her husband like crap, I would definitely tell them in a respectful way.

But Tori doesn't want Sara & Tim to work it out because then her & Jack might not "win". Has anyone ever told Little Miss Superior that this show isn't actually a competition and there's no prize for coming first? Bet Tori used to glue her egg to the spoon when she was at school 😂

Really don't think Timothy (or Old Tim as the mean girls put it) fancies Tori; just think he can see Jack for the POS that he is.

I really like Timothy. I dont think he fancies Tori at all. He just recognises there is no genuine attraction from Jack's side and calling it out. Ozzies are big on calling things out!

It also could be deflection from the possibility he really doesn't fancy Lucinda and can't admit it to himself or her. I hope not, I hope it's a slow burn that might be accelerated now she has backed off and gives him a chance to come forward.

I have been saying this to DP!! He won't have sex with Tori because he has ED and shrunken balls through steroids useage! And probably an embarrassing tattoo on his willy.

Ellie and Jonno would be gorgeous together. Him and Lauren will stay friendly. Funny how Ellie seems so much older than Lauren when I think they're the same age.

Tim was right warning Tori what had been said, she just didn't want to hear it and he went about it all the wrong way. I don't think he was making a fool of himself because he fancied her, I think he was genuinely pissed off at Jack and Tori took it upon herself to defend the relationship solo while his Lordship sat and smirked.

I'm surprised not to see a bit more friendship shown developing with Lucinda and Andrea, both interesting and alternative types. Maybe there is and it's not of interest because they're not slagging everyone off.

When watching with DD last night we discussed whether Jack was taking drugs, probably steroids- interesting to see others had the same thought.

Timothy seemed really quite nasty at the dinner party, he was chucking a grenade & sitting back smirking & thinking he's really clever, poor Lucinda having to sit there feeling humiliated & embarrassed by her husband

The affair will be one of the new people who join later & Sara

I think:

• Sara is seeing someone on the outside
• Jack is taking steroids
• Tim (the elder) likes causing mischief. Not sure why the other men didn't say about Jack not fancying Tori. I hope he and Lucinda are able to find a compromise and a way forward.
• Tim (the younger) has the patience of a saint
• Richard & Andrea will be the only ones with a true connection and hopefully love
• The 'dens' work through together. I like them both. I know a lot of people are disgusted with his confession but none of them there have mentioned it again so I wonder if the editor tried to stir it but it hasn't worked.
• Tristan needs to like himself before he can even start to like/love another person. Poor Cass.
• Ben & Ellie - meh
• Lauren - I can't help but like her even though we wouldn't be friends in real life. She is forthright and you get what you see!

In one of the pieces this week where they speak to camera, jack was talking and they were showing him working out at the gym. His biceps were immense and all his muscles were huge. He had so little body fat you could see multiple veins across his arms. I immediately thought no one gets that chiseled and muscly naturally.

After he had finished speaking it cut back to him and Tori in the apartment and he didn't seem so big so perhaps the gym shots were filmed before or after the experiment but he looked way too big to have not been taking something.

Somebody described Richard as the lovechild of Harold and Lou from Neighbours and I can't unsee it now

I think on one of the early episodes when we ‘met’ Sara before she got married she said she was on there to break a cycle with a toxic ex that she kept going back to so maybe she’s still in touch with him

I'm trying to find the video someone posted of Collins being interviewed where he was nothing like his MAFS persona. Does anyone have the link handy please?

Lauren's mad as a box of frogs but was pretty astute about Ben's coaching (manipulation) of Ellie - as shown when Ben and Ellie were in the car enroute to the dinner.

Tori may be a good negotiator of grown men in her job, but I wonder whether it was sensible to call those men "sleazy". That may well apply to "Old Tim" but her management may well be unhappy about that description about people they do business with.

Poor Lucinda - she doesn't deserve how she was made to feel at the dinner. I'm glad she stood up for herself and said she herself was still assessing whether there was a future for her and Timothy. I personally don't think there is - there's too much active negativity about him - she can do better than someone so quick to anger and score points. 🌹

Completely agree, also the job of a BDM is schmoozing these sleazy old businessmen not going to battle with them 😂. Really going off her now to be honest.

Yeah, I'm not sure how I feel about Timothy now.
Whilst I agreed with him with regards to Tori and Jack (and I was screaming for one of the other guys to step in and say, "Yeah, actually Tori ..."), I felt Timothy didn't handle himself well in that situation, and came across too aggressive.

I definitely didn't like how he made Lucinda feel. She looked so hurt, and I was so annoyed with Timothy for not noticing her then (or maybe he did and just didn't care).

Urgh, Sara - she was just vile.

Yes that's weird especially after the BS he gave about not wanting to do the 'rating' exercise. Sara is pointless as is just there for the free hotel and to see her mates. Her top lip is quite a thing.

I really don’t think ‘old Tim’ is interested in Tori. He just doesn’t like Jack.
Someone mentioned up thread about pairing Natalie & Tristan - I do wonder?

I think the first few uk and Australia series just had 3-4 couples and no dinner parties.

Then aus changed around season 4 I think. Uk later. USA one (season 15?) is still just 3 couples with sone occasional meet ups as a group in a casual setting. They also base it on location to avoid long distance issues.

I picked up on the mean girl thing too. At the dinner party they swoop like a pack on the other women to get the inside info, and then go back to their huddle, so they can gossip about them over a cheap bottle of Prosecco. I would hate to be near any of them at the dinner party - their lips are so inflated they can't shut their mouths to eat. Yuk.

I honestly can't see any couples staying together. Apart from Cass I can see why they are all single and issues finding love!
