Ha! We saw Lee (L’s son) in The Full Monty a couple of weeks ago 🤣

More fitting had it been JohnnySausage's sausage in the final strip... 😉

thegirlwithkaleidoscopeeyes · 21/04/2024 21:29

🤣

Riverlee · 21/04/2024 21:56

I saw Mark Fowler in a play in November.

SparklyBracelet · 21/04/2024 22:15

I saw Jay at mile 6 today in the London Marathon! I shouted “Jay!” And he waved!

The Mousetrap? We saw him in the touring production in Glasgow. He was good!

bizzey · 21/04/2024 23:09

AHH ..I missed the whole marathon today .

Did the TV coverage show them ?

Ah, how lovely.

I'm so impressed by Jamie and Emma's commitment to their characters, and to Lola's storyline, that they ran it for real.

The pre-filmed inserts in tomorrow's episode should be great.

They will squeeze 30 seconds in like they do for all life events whether football final or something important in royal family etc

There's a nice behind-the-scenes interview with both, re the Marathon filming logistics, on the official EastEnders TwitterX

SparklyBracelet · 22/04/2024 08:33

@bizzey Yes! They were interviewed on Tower Bridge just before they were going to get into character for filming on the bridge. They are both so nice. I’ve seen Jamie in the marathon before. Must have been 2019. He was lovely then as well x

bizzey · 22/04/2024 08:43

Thanks ..I will look that up .

Yes. I enjoyed it as well.

newtlover · 22/04/2024 19:24

So....did they run in character? I remember thinking Honey's stretches looked a bit half arsed 😂

NowNumber5 · 22/04/2024 19:50

Aaah well done Jamie Borthwick and Emma Barton and our very own @SparklyBracelet 👏🏻 👏🏻 👏🏻

Think Britney’s mum must’ve ran her own marathon getting from MK to Walford General so quick! 😳😂

SparklyBracelet · 22/04/2024 19:53

@NowNumber5 Aaah thanks. Honestly it was brilliant to see Jay. I’ve been part of the legendary London Marathon crowd for many years. It’s such a fabulous day. I wasn’t running btw! I wish!

NowNumber5 · 22/04/2024 20:02

@SparklyBracelet That’s even better - seeing Jay without being a hyperventilating sweaty mess yourself … wait, that’d just be me right?!! 🤣
Good on you for being out there and cheering on the runners, the atmosphere must be amazing!
Did you catch Honey/Emma at all?

the80sweregreat · 22/04/2024 20:07

They did their runs in double quick time !
Not bad at all ..

xSideshowAuntSallyx · 22/04/2024 20:08

Not quite sure the bits with Britney and Sonia were needed. Thought the Lola/marathon was enough.

the80sweregreat · 22/04/2024 20:12

I love how the doctors just appear to speak to everyone at the right moment when they go to hospital! You never see them on hard chairs in an and e waiting area for 15 hours or more.
It's sad Britney has this disease , it is rare.

Sonia is so humourless

I was looking out for the pair of them. It’s difficult if you don’t know their expected race times because there are runners with pace markers of 4 hour finish etc and those expected to finish in that time will be behind them in a group. All of a sudden Jay was in front of me! I called to him and he looked back and waved. Bloody brilliant!! Honey must have been more in the middle of the pack so I missed her

Gingerkittykat · 22/04/2024 22:07

Poor Britney.

Zack must end up wondering about the lack of contact from her social worker. I think foster carers are now paid an allowance too, why is he not noticing that is not appearing in their bank account?

excelledyourself · 22/04/2024 22:33

That was a good episode.

I especially loved the hug between Callum and Jay half way through. Seemed really natural.

Shame about Ben, and the Sonia/Whit stuff was unnecessary. Whitney's reaction to Britney falling from the bike was ridiculous.

But huge well done to Jay and Emma Star

Arconialiving · 22/04/2024 22:48

I really enjoyed tonight's episode - laughed out loud at Phil's one liners & then cried for Lola! Well done Jay & Honey!

Wasntmeanttobelikethis · 22/04/2024 23:10

Made a lovely change to have an upbeat episode
Only downside was sour-faced Sonia and her boring boyfriend
Phil was on top form; much better when he’s or in gangsta-mode
