Sorry about the unimaginative thread title!

So just a plate of food. Where is the link. Annoyed

jay55 · 06/03/2024 20:20

To be fair, if I ate pork that pink, I might put in an Olympic record running to the loo

EsmaCannonball · 06/03/2024 20:20

This is just bad. Badly cooked and no visual connection or drama.

I often wonder, how many of the chefs have never seen the show before? They must know a little theatre is required.

littlbrowndog · 06/03/2024 20:21

So true Esma. I am disappointed

littlbrowndog · 06/03/2024 20:22

Cmon Mellisa. Hope it’s good

EsmaCannonball · 06/03/2024 20:23

I think the chances of Colin ending up on death row are about 20 - 30%.

littlbrowndog · 06/03/2024 20:24

Good job Melissa

EsmaCannonball · 06/03/2024 20:26

Andi's dress is very Victorian séance tablecloth. I like it.

EsmaCannonball · 06/03/2024 20:28

I think the marks are quite generous considering the poor technique and boring presentation.

littlbrowndog · 06/03/2024 20:28

Agree

jay55 · 06/03/2024 20:28

Agree 6 was too much for soggy pie and undercooked pork

Pastachocolate · 06/03/2024 20:29

This judging would have been brutal yesterday

EsmaCannonball · 06/03/2024 20:30

I, like Nigella Lawson, love liquorice in desserts.

littlbrowndog · 06/03/2024 20:32

Andie shouting

EsmaCannonball · 06/03/2024 20:33

I'm finding a couple of the chefs (not Melissa) a bit frustrating. Not unlikeable, but frustrating.

littlbrowndog · 06/03/2024 20:35

These are all crap

EsmaCannonball · 06/03/2024 20:37

I really think the producers and researchers should think hard about how they source the chefs next year. The standard isn't as competitive as it used to be.

littlbrowndog · 06/03/2024 20:38

For sure it’s not

past years have been some great dishes and chefs

littlbrowndog · 06/03/2024 20:39

Spencer’s face 🤣🤣😳

Sunbird24 · 06/03/2024 20:42

What is a gastrique anyway? Never heard of it before but seems like everyone’s making them this series!

Sounds like something produced in the stomach as part of the digestive process.

Pastachocolate · 06/03/2024 20:44

Ah so they use different freezer temp than they would in other professional kitchens as well as just one ice cream maker. Designed to ramp up the tension.

Exactly! Not very appealing 😂

This feels like one of those heats where no one wants to go through. There's no pride in any of it.

EsmaCannonball · 06/03/2024 20:49

How would you tell that this is connected to boxing? Where's the fun?
