Plus she's nice, likeable. Positive most of the time. Good head on her shoulders. Stays true to herself. Doesn't get involved in petty squabbles, doesn't have endless messy relationships. And I hope if she stays, the writers keep her like that.

Ah, right. Well, sorry again. I'll be more careful in future.

Eileen has barely changed. And wasn’t Steve McDonald good looking when he was younger.

Great characters in classic series .

I didn't think he was slurring either, that scene didn't ring true for me. (Jumping in late as I'm behind and only just seen that episode.)

I have to say I'm getting a bit fed up of the unending depressing storylines in Corrie and other soaps recently though. I do think they're sensitively done and well researched and the actor who plays Paul is knocking it out of the park acting-wise, as are the others involved in the storyline. I just miss when soaps were primarily for entertainment with a better balance between sad storylines and issues, and lighter stuff. I think I can feel a Corrie break coming on.

It would be nice for Steve to have a decent storyline now.

Maybe a visit from Andy Liz and Jim would cheer Steve up. I prefer people to have family living elsewhere to all the murdered relatives.
I don't like missing classic corrie. My afternoon delight.

Half the blokes in Corrie are made to be idiots (Steve, Tim, Brian,, Dev etc) and quite a few of the women too (Mary, Sally, Gail, Audrey, Jenny etc)

I was smitten by Steve in the early days, I was at secondary school.
I'm embarrassed by his character now.
It would be good if he (Steve) realises he's become a wally and the break from our Tracy changes him for the better.

I am looking forward to the Lauren story unolding. I wonder is this bye bye for Daisy? I liked her at the start but now I cannot bear her.

So how are they going to pay Carla back?
Breaking even is pretty tough these days , let alone earning enough to live plus paying back Carla.

Carla actress really needs to stop with the lip filler she's heading in the same direction as Abi actress, her lips arrive before she does.

I think it's been commented on before, but how are they even making a profit?

They had to sell up before because it wasn't viable, but they don't seem to have changed anything.

And they're paying wages for Daisy, Jenny, Sean and Glenda (and does Gemma also do some shifts?) before any of their bills are met. So where on earth are they going to find the cash to pay Carla back?

Although, I suppose they're not paying Daisy now, they could divert her wages to paying Carla 🤔

I really hope Ryan dumps Daisy too but I don’t think he will unfortunately.
He needs someone who will blow him away, feisty but with a good set of morals. I would personally like Daisy to leave the Street. I think she’s vile, without any redeeming features. I don’t even think she’s that attractive. She’s fake and her dress sense is very off atm. She’s not funny like Tracy so she’s not your standard Corrie ‘villan.’ They need a new femme fatale to arrive to put her in her place.

I think Daisy's gorgeous, and beautiful people are easier to forgive than the rest of us. That said, I don't know why any bloke would stay with her for more than five minutes.

Even Bethany, who's a 'right little madam' is very attractive.

I don't think Daisy or Bethany are particularly attractive tbh. They both look fake/plastic with to much make-up.
That's only my opinion of course, and I'm nothing special to look at.
