Well that was an action packed episode 😱

Mason showing his evil mush wasn't what I wanted to see though and I hope he gets what he deserves very soon.

Highlight for me was Aadi in that short scene. I knew the writers were taking notice of my posts on here. 😍

lollipoprainbow · 03/04/2024 21:42

Sally and Debbie doing karaoke was good. A slight glimmer of the old Corrie.

eggandonion · 03/04/2024 23:19

Why wasnt Debbie in the hotel? Violet and Dylan were there and Debbie could have given her input.
So 5 days to wait for the next episode...

Said the same myself, so I did!

whatsbestforme · 04/04/2024 01:28

Sally and Debbie was funny

Baileys finally have some confirmation

Daisy at her nastiest but liked her getting on with her mum for a bit.

How are they going to write the legal secretary out I wonder

Maria, finally, with some realistic emotions to all the bullying. It's clever to show how it is impacting her job.
Bullying affects more than the victim.

Audreys lines of asking his age were spot on, close friends of a certain age never remember your kids ages 😂
Well Done Corrie.

Carla has neatly forgotten about the other shareholders in the factory who deserve to know.

Ryan was quite forgiving but it was not long ago he was robbing the bistro.

They all nick off each other then make up like nothing happened.

AmusedMaker · 04/04/2024 08:49

I wonder if the entire Bailey family are being written out? I don’t think they’ve been particularly popular, although I like Dee Dee.

storagefilter · 04/04/2024 08:54

I like Dee Dee but the rest of the family, not so much. I enjoyed last nights episode but I need the Mason story to conclude. I just hope Dillon does the right thing in court next.

DirtyDensDog · 04/04/2024 09:00

I missed bits of last nights. What's happening with the Baileys?

eggandonion · 04/04/2024 11:23

Glory seems to have been sent to live with Aggie.

DeeDee is one of my favourite female characters, so I hope she does stay.

Hellendegenerate · 04/04/2024 14:07

If the above happens and the Bailey house is sold then that could mean a whole new family moving in. Can't wait 😴😴😴😴

However if DeeDee is a successful lawyer then she can get herself a mortgage and buy the family home. 😕

eggandonion · 04/04/2024 14:21

I don't think deedee opened the letter. I think he is Michael but he might be James.

whatsbestforme · 04/04/2024 14:26

Michael
James is the footballer son who has moved away.

EachandEveryone · 04/04/2024 15:19

They all act like they haven’t got two brass buttons to rub together it’s ridiculous. Solicitors living in flat shares above shops, people working full time and not decorating for forty years, couples with numerous children on minimum wage who don’t seem to be claiming Universal Credit or getting on the housing list. It just goes on. You’d think they were in that London where the cost of living is triple where they are.

eggandonion · 04/04/2024 16:11

The people in Eastenders have better homes. Despite being in the Sarf.

bizzey · 04/04/2024 16:14

I hope the writers read these threads ...cos I really need to say how much I like DeeDee ❤️😂!....and I hope she stays !

She adds something, that none of the other characters have ...I don't know what ...but something !

bizzey · 04/04/2024 16:16

I think it is something to do with her facial expressions.

They don't seem false or practiced in front of the mirror like Bethany's and Daisy's .

AmusedMaker · 04/04/2024 17:37

I liked the Mum too actually - was it Aggie?
The Bailey woman were ( are ) good characters.
The men aren’t great actors, particularly the Dad who is awful.
The uncle isn’t bad.

No spoilers! -no idea if that character is leaving as it hasn't been screened yet.
If we haven't watched it then don't comment on it!

GrandTheftWalrus · 04/04/2024 21:03

That has been aired. Was on the other night.

It was last nights episode.

TellingBone · 04/04/2024 22:20

I think @ColBoulter was talking about the reference to a current character possibly leaving in the future, which is fair enough

HurdyGurdy19 · 04/04/2024 22:25

Sorry, I was just speculating on what could possibly happen. Not sharing a spoiler, as I have no idea if this is what is planned for the Bailey family. And I've just realised I wrote "will be missed" when I should have wrote "would be missed", i.e. if they were written out.

I avoid spoilers like the plague, as I like to have the surprise factor when something is revealed.

I am very cross that I accidentally saw a spoiler headline about Corrie yesterday, and so the shock value won't be there when the reveal happens.
