The producers must think the viewers are really stupid! I watched with my Gran and then the kitchen was a galley. Betty worked miracles with the hot pots.
i also seem to remember in the very early days ( Annie Walker was the landlady) there was a back room with a piano.

I read on another forum that the kitchen was supposedly refurbished when the pub was sold to a chain and was going to be a gastro pub.

The whole dinner party scenario was bizarre. Daniel has been in a relationship with both Bethany and Daisy. Ryan was also in a relationship with both Daisy and Bethany.
Bethany isn't a journalist. She just seemed to produce freelance articles for cheap, tacky magazines. Where is her income coming from?

I know he was proved right about Tracey but why was Dev getting so het up when Steve told him he and Tracey were getting back together. You might say in your own head “More fool you” but that’s about it. Why did he go so OTT.

To be fair, I think the extras have been missing from scenes to show how the pub is struggling.

Much better acting in Weds night's episode...this is what they need to keep up. I felt the emotions from Jenny and Carla.
