Anyway, Harry has apparently promised Mollie a holiday and she's happy with that.

There were photos someone linked to above of them and the other finalist walking to an interview location, and Harry and Mollie (and the others) were clearly having a laugh.

Moving on to S3, it will be interesting what is done to make it different, including players copying tactics Harry's shield/the traitors tried to kill him ploy.

Generationawesome · 27/01/2024 20:27

To change the tone is Andrew single? And why aren't more people crushing on him? 🤣

S3 will be interesting to see just how untrusting the contestants will be.

I'd like a no recruitment arrangement in s3

I'd like this. And if it means the game is shorter, fine. Maybe they can have more Traitors than usual to start with, or have a rule where they don't have to murder each night or something. I'd definitely like there to be no recruiting very late in the game.

Grin What a love he seems. And frankly, his ability to lie and think on his feet when he didn't want to was rather impressively scary!

He did make it very clear however that he has a partner.

Generationawesome · 27/01/2024 20:31

I'd like to see task sabotage and 2 pots of money - the main one and the traitors one.

I vote for that too.

Late recruitment in a certain overseas version of the game really annoyed me. And it's unfair. Often it's just to be able to throw that new traitor to the wolves.

Oh I'd climb him like a tree.

MaggieFS · 27/01/2024 20:34

If you want to see some crazy name spelling, have a gander at the players on US S1 trying to spell Geraldine 😂

The original Traitors is Dutch. They've done several series now, and I'll just say that they do introduce new elements in each new series. So I imagine we'll see some of those things in the UK version in time.

MaggieFS · 27/01/2024 20:41

I thought it was a great suggestion from a pp earlier that the traitors should have to do plain sight tasks in order to win the right to murder. It would spice it up in terms of giving another reason why everyone shows up for breakfast (if they don't win the right that day) and keep the game going for longer without needing to recruit. Recruiting massively stacks the game towards the traitors who already have the edge.

AND/OR rather than let the traitors pick a recruit, if it drops to just one traitor left before xx time gone, then weave it into a mission that whomever does something is later is notified that because they saw/touched/whatever a certain item, they are now a traitor. No choice.

Can anyone tell me how I can watch Uncloaked? I can only find series 1 on iPlayer.

There wasn't an uncloaked for series 1 so the one on the iPlayer is series 2

happinessischocolate · 27/01/2024 20:57

Series one is the correct one

I have been out all day so catching up with thread and there has been a lot of interrogation about what happened and why and the morals of it. I think some people's reactions are quite extreme and I can sort of understand it. Someone used a sporting analogy further back in the thread and how the person that performs best on the day wins, whether they're nice, whether it's justified, whether they deserve it is completely irrelevant, to coin the well known phrase life isn't fair. Harry and Molly played the game to the best of their ability, they played the game by the rules set and there was a winner. Maybe not the one most of us wanted maybe some of Harry's gameplay was a bit questionable but he broke no rules, he didn't put words in people's mouths, control or coercive people so I think some of the remarks about a young 22 year old man are even worse than the flak Molly is getting. People need to give their heads a wobble. I have a daughter who is doing very well in her chosen team sport and I had to seriously stop myself getting consumed by some of the perceived injustices such as a bad ref decision etc. The result is the result no changing it, move on.

Twonewcats · 27/01/2024 21:10

I knew Andrew had serious scars on his head, but it was only under the studio lights on Uncloaked that I noticed his facial scars. What a dreadful time he's been through, and all respect to him for mentally being able to even go through this show, given how brutal it can be

Slumberlands · 27/01/2024 21:13

Imagine if Harry was your son. How would you feel? He’s played a game and he’s played it well. Give the man a break.

Aw he's lovely, too lovely to be crushed upon Grin plus I was busy with fancying Ross and there's only so many hours in the day

As far as I’m concerned it’s all about context, they both signed up for a game called “The Traitors” they knew what the rules were and what the possible outcomes were.

Had Harry behaved the same way on “First Dates” for example I would agree he was a nasty piece of work and Mollie had been wronged, but in the context of this particular game had he not behaved as he did he would’ve been handing the prize money to others, and that’s not the point of the game.

Fatfinch · 27/01/2024 21:30

Interesting to see some of the posts about the way that Jaz was perceived by some of the others and particularly Mollie. I didn’t really clock the ‘unconscious racism’ as a viewer. I also thought that Harry might be from a gypsy family, just going off his looks, his dress sense and some of the things he said about his family. Although he obviously isn’t a traveler now I just wondered about his heritage.

Slumberlands · 27/01/2024 21:13

No, he's fair game, apparently.

noblegiraffe · 27/01/2024 22:07

With all this dissing on Harry because he's the villain for winning, it should be pointed out that he was popular with other contestants partly because he was an absolutely brilliant team player in the missions. He always gave his absolute best, but he was also massively positive and encouraging with the other contestants. If that was his army training coming through then they've done a good job.

NonPlayerCharacter · 27/01/2024 22:14

They all did their best in the missions. It was in everyone's interests to add to the pot.

One criticism of the show at the moment is that younger, fitter, more able contestants have an advantage because they are more likely to be kept on purely to build the pot.

MaggieFS · 27/01/2024 22:22

Not all of the missions were physical, there were fair few which needed brainpower and others which were static physical.
