Ive not watched uncloaked but just finished the finale!

Molly, Andrew and Jaz all seemed like genuinely lovely people in human way any of them deserved the money.

From a game perspective Jaz, Andrew , Harry and Zack were the best players. And Paul until he screwed up.

Jaz was really smart throughout and nearly outwitted Harry, it's a shame he wasn't regarded higher in the group.

I think Molly believed Jaz and Harry were faithful so banished Jaz as he asked for the banishment

I don't understand why the shield theory didn't get discussed further. There had to be another traitor left after Ross because there was a murder. So once everyone who didn't know about the shield was gone logically there was a recruitment meaning two traitors left not one.

It did feel like a hollow victory watching Harry sip champagne while Molly cried backstage.

Willmafrockfit · 27/01/2024 07:33

the press will be gunning for Harry now

MothersofGorgons · 27/01/2024 07:34

Traitors Oz begins on iplayer today!

Last year's series was very ruthless. No crying and "I feel guilty" nonsense. Some great women. I hope this series is the same.

After every series of Traitors, people argue that the winner should donate to the dim person they have carried to the finale. They never do. As it should be. Competence should be rewarded, IMO, not gullibility.

WhereAreWeNow · 27/01/2024 07:35

@lljkk he said that but I don't think that's true. He was very analytical and was good at picking up on small inconsistencies in things Traitors had said or done. I don’t think it was just gut feeling.

MothersofGorgons · 27/01/2024 07:36

I don;t think players should be rewarded for being "genuinely lovely people". We have no idea how lovely they are. They are edited to look a certain way for better TV. We can only go by their actions.

WhereAreWeNow · 27/01/2024 07:37

I'm not sure Harry will get negative press attention. I think he's going to do very well out of this.

Twonewcats · 27/01/2024 07:40

But Jaz could have been a traitor and voted to continue.

Mollie asked "It's not you, is it?" to Harry, so to me it seemed she was going down the route of "Jaz is trying to throw me off the scent as he might be a Traitor"

prettygirlincrimsonrose · 27/01/2024 07:40

Feel for Mollie. I suspect if she had gone for Harry at the last minute she'd have still got a lot of hate for being lucky, the combination of Jaz/Andrew making it obvious etc (and annoyance for similarity to last years ending). Obviously last year there was some time between Kieron's banishment and firepit for Faithfuls to process things, talk etc. Tougher just having to decide. And if there had been three Faithfuls and Jaz was unnecessarily worried (unlikely I know), I think she would have felt (and been seen as) awful for turning on her friend at the end. But I was still willing her to see the truth in that final vote.

I think it would have been interesting to see Jaz vote for Andrew and how that split would have played out. And we came up with a way Harry and Andrew could have both won if they wanted to - separate and convince other two players to vote for the other traitor (as they did) and then they both vote for the same faithful as per am agreed plan. If the last faithful votes to banish again they both vote for him/her. Obviously very tempting to turn on each other, particularly for Harry with one very strong alliance, but I think in some ways he'd have come out if it looking better by showing loyalty to the other traitor (although maybe not enough to be worth missing out on £47,500...). Interesting alternative ending anyway.

Twonewcats · 27/01/2024 07:41

Whatever anyone's feelings about Harry, his jet-set lifestyle doesn't mean he has plenty money.

KonTikki · 27/01/2024 07:43

Harry played a fabulous game within the spirit of the game.
He was always thinking 2 steps ahead like a Chess Master.
To be a traitor right from the start and not be unmasked is a credit to him.
His win was well deserved.

MotherofGorgons · 27/01/2024 07:43

Harry can do what he wants with his money, surely.

Twonewcats · 27/01/2024 07:46

Harrys gf had a pretty bow in her hair last night. Two of the Love Island women did too, on LI. Is this a thing again? I dont have daughters so was quite surprised to see this

crumpet · 27/01/2024 07:48

noblegiraffe · 27/01/2024 07:30

plus entirely legitimate for Mollie to believe that Harry and Jaz were both faithful and that Jaz had voted to continue so that the pot could be split 2 rather than 3 ways.

No, he voted to continue because he thought Harry might be traitor. That's obvious.

But there didn't have to be a traitor left in the game. It's perfectly plausible that Jaz was wrong and Harry was a faithful. Look at how many other faithfuls had been incorrectly banished!

Mollie thought they were both faithful, she voted to end the game and she that Jaz was wrong to not end the game there. She had to vote someone off even though she thought they were both faithful. The only info she had was that Jaz thought Harry was a traitor. Not that there was a traitor.

Yes of course that was an option for Mollie, that Jaz thought Harry was a traitor. I was pointing out the fact that she had another alternative which was that if all 3 were faithful, Jaz might have been after more money rather than a 3 way split. She has only a few minutes, and a lot to work through. For the other 2 it was more simple. Harry knew he was a traitor and Jaz was convinced Harry was a traitor.

Stopsnowing · 27/01/2024 07:48

At the end mollie should have gone:

I know I am not a traitor
jaz has voted to carry on. A traitor would want to end and take all the money so jaz is not a traitor
i have to vote to banish someone so even though I think Harry is a faithful logic dictates I vote for him
(But I am being driven by emotion so will not follow logic)

Christmasisover · 27/01/2024 07:49

I am maybe in the minority here but I think what Harry did was sinister not just good game play. I think he exploited Mollie's vulnerabilities for his own gain and I also see why so many of my friends complain about the issues with modern day dating. He quite clearly manipulated her knowing she fancied him in order to get what he wanted. Once he had it, she just became collateral damage.

Fatfinch · 27/01/2024 07:49

A brilliant show but I actually felt sick watching the end. I was rooting for Jaz! But Mollie at the end, it just brought back memories of all the times I had been played by a lying, cheating man. Horrible! Poor Mollie, so innocent.

Sadza · 27/01/2024 07:54

Even if Mollie thought Harry was faithful, she should have voted him out to get a bigger share of the winnings. Fair play to Harry, he knew he was playing a game and he played till the end. It’s not about making friends, it’s about a game and that’s what they all signed up for. The tasks are designed to create a sense of teamwork which builds relationships and confuses people.

Yes - good analysis. Jaz would have voted to end the game if he was a traitor. Hence it is clear, when he votes for another banishment, that he is not. Mollie knows she is not a traitor so the only question is Harry. Until Jaz votes to carry on they were due to get about £33,000 each (in Mollies mind). Suddenly Jaz has voted to carry on. Now Mollie has a potential £50,000. She either votes for Harry and has £50,000 for sure. Or she votes for Jaz and has a potential £50,000 (if Harry is a faithful) or nothing (if Harry is a traitor). Her loyalty to Harry was such that she preferred to take the chance of losing 100% of the money to Harry than the certainty of sharing with Jaz (and getting 50%) (and potentially leaving a faithful Harry with nothing). I think Harry should give them both a third each, but I hope that they can make the same sort of money doing interviews etc- Jaz because he played a good game and Mollie because she proved she is a loyal person, which we can do more of in this world…

MotherofGorgons · 27/01/2024 08:00

Don't watch Oz S 1 if you don't like manipulation!

Sadza · 27/01/2024 08:01

For those saying Mollie was vulnerable is just patronising. To me she seemed like a really outgoing and fun woman, she just trusted her gut rather than her head and forgot why she was there. And it’s not a dating show, the whole idea is about fooling people and betrayal. It’s called traitors.

MotherofGorgons · 27/01/2024 08:02

I think Harry should give them both a third each.

I'd sooner bet on Prince Charles abdicating tomorrow.

MothersofGorgons · 27/01/2024 08:03

It's a double edged sword being a good traitor in this game - you win, but you're revealed on a national stage as a lying untrustworthy shit who no-one should ever trust. 95k isn't a lot to carry that reputation around, unless you can make people so impressed with you they'll forgive anything...

Totally agree. You can be the nicest, kindest person, but if you are chosen to be a traitor, you have to lie and scheme if you want to win.

Stowickthevast · 27/01/2024 08:06

@WriterOfWrongs where are you watching S2 of the US?

I watched the first 2 episodes on daily motion but can't find the third.
