So Phil gives up £30k for Alfie, £50k for Sharon, £100k for Sam and now £33k extra as a bribe for Sam… maybe someone else has said this before… but how is he not bothered by giving away over £210k it just seems silly.

The 33k Sam received was her cut of Aunt Sal's inheritance money. He was going to keep it to pay off some of her 50k debt , but she got the better of him.
He did get 2k back from Alfie last year , but the other 28 he wrote off ( Kat talked him round , plus he wanted him to stay quiet about Emma and was helping him with his cancer news / treatment )
He did want the 50k back from Karen , but they took off and he isn't going after them. Most people would try , but clearly he isn't too bothered!
