Phil has had a bit of practice at divorce / splitting up , so he has probably learnt the hard way about being reasonable with Kat and money this time around! I still find it hard to forgive him pushing a pregnant Sharon out in the street that time though, so he isn't always like it and can be totally vile.

Dean emptied the contents of one of Jade’s pills and then put the capsule back together. Very evil man indeed. I do think he’s right that it’s unreasonable for Shabnam to expect her post-op child to fly all the way to Pakistan. It’s actually really irresponsible. But obviously the way Dean is behaving is monstrous.

Phil can be reasonable when he chooses to be. To be honest, Kat was married to him for 5 minutes and brought nothing into the marriage so I’m not sure why she deserves half of everything.

Phil probably doesn't want to run the cab place or the launderette , so he might be seeing this as fair game ? He can still hang around and give out some advice or whatever, but not have the day to day involvement? He is more interested in the gym.
I agree Kat isn't really entitled not that much , but he has promised to keep an eye on the boys and give financial help , so maybe it's easier to let her carry on with those businesses and this is her pay off ?
Money is always a strange thing on EE and places change hands overnight , so this is just a guess !

So Phil owns the gym (or just half of it with Sharon? He’s never there these days so I forgot) the laundrette, cab office and now the Arches.

Although I don’t understand how he was able to just get the Arches considering the previous owner couldn’t exactly sign it over, what with being buried under concrete and everything.

I’m sure Richie, who specialises in every area of law, sorted all that out.

Yeah…selling a business takes months and requires a valuation, lots of paperwork etc. In EE a business can be sold by a third party (Kathy) without any input from the actual owner who is on the other side of the world and it’s all done and dusted in two weeks😂

The thing I’m enjoying about Enders lately is that the women aren’t being such mugs for the men (in the long run anyway). Like Chelsea just dumped Ravi when she realised her mum was right, Gina got the measure of Dean quickly enough, Kat ditched Nish almost straight away when she copped he was after the businesses etc. I feel like before those storylines would have dragged on for months with us all knowing the women were being taken for a ride but them having no clue. Women listening to other women for a change!!

Oh and everyone believing Linda rather than Dean getting to pretend he’s a nice guy.

I didn't notice Sonia being horrible. She was probably just pissed off about all the secrecy/Whit not telling her herself and having to hear it from Zack 5 months on!

What pissed me off was Zack and Bianca being so wet.. theyve got Whit mouthing off to dodgy druggies, and yet they were nowhere to be seen in the first scene... and Zack and his long legs arrive in the final bit, so far behind waddling Whit, he mustve stopped for a cuppa first!

Totally agree. Awful the way they weren't backing her up and Zack saying leave her about Britney. But Bianca really shouldn't have kicked off like that. You'd think she would know better by now 🙄
