I can't R.E.M. who said the Christmas corpse a few titles ago - but this no 69 (blondes giggles) is dedicated to you

I was watching when they put Janus fingerprints on the bottle and they did it back to front. I’d the bottle top nearest his thumb so the bottle would stick out his fist at his pinkie. If I grabbed a bottle to hit someone I’d have the bottle on my fist sticking out between my thumb and forefinger.

I suppose it’s not impossible someone would pick it up that way but it struck me as odd.

The police obviously didn't care that Eve committed perjury ( I think this is the correct term) by planting evidence and pretending to be dead ? I didn't give it much thought , but eastie is correct , it doesn't make any sense at all

On Christmas Day it was a call about Nugget
Today it was something else. I know she's had all the Ken / Nish stuff, but they just can't seem to leave as a couple.
I doubt they will end up together somehow as it just isn't going that well and Nish is bound to be cured in hospital as they have a good track record there !

Yes Nish is bound to survive as he's in Walford General. Peter was on a ventilator with Cindy and Ian weeping behind the glass door yet a couple of weeks later he's sitting at the dining table at home fully cured!

The six are putting a lot on Nish either not remembering or keeping quiet.

Their plan (or lack of) is laughable.
Bit disappointed really because I really enjoyed the Xmas day episode.

I get if they just called the police and an ambulance there would be less of a story but... I dunno.
If I was one of them, I would have caved and told the police even the next day. Especially if I wasn't Denise or Linda I.e. a murderer or nearly murderer.

The entire storyline is so incredibly stupid. I'm really disappointed after all the build up. Seriously, 5 other women couldn't overpower Keanu without killing him and instead stood around screaming?! Because, Heaven Forbid, women stopped a dumb ass man by using their actual brains (and muscles) and are now lying willy nilly to the police to cover it up. And if Kathy ends up killing Rocky to shut him up, I am going to throw my tv in the river. Where, luckily, it will come back to life anyway. At least in Eastenders world.

With all the witnesses and bruises around Sharon's neck etc Linda would easily have been able to say she was saving Sharon's life. Plus she is previously of good character etc isn't she? No criminal past? Unless I'm forgetting something.

It gets more tricky getting the police to believe they had to defend themselves from two separate men in separate incidents and had no choice but to act violently...

My guess is when he comes out of the induced coma he will have lost his memory but then it will all start coming back to him. He will then blackmail Suki into staying with him.

Was Rocky planning to just walk into the cafe at the end of the last episode? It’s supposed to be locked up and it isn’t his property!

Rocky won't let the Cafe sighting go, so hecwill eventually go in and find the body. He will then either try to move and get caught or fall on his sword to protect Kathy.
I don't know why the women think that Nish would go along with their plan. Are they hoping he will die or be brain damaged? Are they thinking he will rather their narrative than the fact he was attacking Suki, hit Linda, etc... He also presumably won't have any proof that Denise hit him or probably know it was Denise as she hit him in the back of the head. It would be his word against the 6 of them.
Why is no nobody there to pick them up from police station ( Ian, Jack, Zach, Harvey,....) or bring them a change of clothes ( if i was Sharon i would want out-of that bloody wedding dress asap) . Who is minding Albie when they are at police station?
Silly for Linda to keep murder weapon under bed, either clean and return to kitchen or dispose of completely.

And she is an alcoholic, so would possibly be of bad character?

What they all did with their kids whilst they were all in the Vic sitting room together I've no idea !

I get why they didn't call Jack, but why didn't they call Phil? What's the point of being in with the resident gangster if you can't call on him to dispose of a corpse and tidy up the crime scene? I'm sure Phil would have been only too glad to see Keanu dead, and to not see all his baby mamas in jail. Whole thing's stupid :(

Phil does panto this time of year , so probably busy with that or maybe they just didn't want too many other people involved as it's already difficult enough for them to know who said what as it is !
He might get involved later on maybe ?
I thought he would hang around when we saw him xmas night , but he soon took off
( or even be cufflinks at one stage )

Wasn't the Vic pub decorated beautifully for the wedding ? All those beautiful flowers on every surface, George looked very lonely in the pub until the temptress/ex wife came in and lured him away.

I imagine they wouldn't have needed to call Jack from the police station. Surely one of his colleagues would have tipped him off. Did nobody worry about where they all were when they were down the cop shop?
