A PP mentioned Big Little Lies, which I watched when it came out in 2017 but had forgotten the story. I've re-read what happened and yes, that story and The Six story are very similar. I guess nothing's original these days in TV.

They could have tried to pull him away or L could have stabbed him in the leg or arm

I don’t know why I didn’t guess Linda wouldn’t be the killer, since she’s a bit disposable these days and Kellie Bright hasn’t been in the show as long as some of the others. In Big Little Lies, the killer confessed at the end.

Linda killing Dean ( or Eve killing him) would have been my perfect ending , but hey , is what is it

Once Keanu rocked up after Nish I did start thinking ' ahh ' but I thought he'd live tbh.
Maybe Suki won't run off with Eve now she helped him to live ??

Ridiculous but very entertaining. To be honest, it's difficult for the big showdown Christmas episodes to live up to all the (excellent) build up of interweaving story lines. I've found the last couple of weeks very strong, whereas yesterday's descended into farce.

They altered Ken's personality so much the last few weeks , but Dean has always been vile !
Yet he gets to stalk again terrorizing Linda

Wow best episode I’ve seen in years! I did NOT see the ending coming at all! A few heroes came out of it as well - Ravi taking on Nish, Denise smacking Nish with the bottle, Sharon refusing to rat on Denise when Keanu showed up, and finally Linda stabbing Keanu when he attacked Sharon.

It felt like all the women in Walford have had enough of their vile controlling men and decided to fight back

The only secret not to emerge was about Phil and Emma. Ken knew , did Alfie too ?
His remark about ' stuffing a bird ' to Phil was very past the watershed ! Made me cringe.
Maybe Phil will carry on goading Kat about Albie and Alfie will tell Kat about Emma as I believe he knows that secret!

Did Dean witness anything? Seemed vague to me but if he did that would be a really good story for next year.

I was wondering why Bernie didn’t leave with her mum - she gave the excuse that she had her life in Walford, but that didn’t seem believable with the caff burned down and only her deceitful brother remaining. She was critical to the big reveal to Phil though so I wonder if she’ll leave now Keanu is dead - can’t see where the character can go really.

I'd love Bernie to stick around.
Or maybe have a decent win on the lottery and go off traveling with a new girlfriend or with Felix who is also a loose end character

I’m in the minority here and really glad Nish didn’t die. Only because I didn’t want his murder hanging over Dee.

Once again, Suki getting entrapped for no reason. If Nugget collapsed her response should have been “call an ambulance” and leave it at that.

Glad Ravi stepped up like that. He’s decent underneath it all. I’m convinced Uncle Ranvir isn’t dead dead.

Dean came through the Vic front door so unless he staged the open door and ran back upstairs to hide I don’t think he was in the Vic? Or maybe someone else was there and The Six will have a mystery blackmailer.

Just had a thought, what if Albie woke up and witnessed the whole thing😱

Did Bernie tell Phil where the Taylor’s are hiding in their little chat that was off screen? The whole point of her revealing Keanu’s involvement is because she wanted to pin the blame on him and somewhat exonerate her family so they could come home. Maybe they’ll return and Karen will go after Sharon to avenge Keanu’s death - she’ll be hopping mad they all did what they did for a kid that wasn’t even Keanu’s! She’ll blame Sharon for that for sure
