I'm a bit worried Sam won't be able to go back to normal life Grin

This is his life.

He's been on every reality show going.
I'm surprised he didn't do this ears ago.

Celeb Big Brother

Coach Trip and the circle with Pete

Who is voting for trial dodging Josie? I have never seen anyone get this far without volunteering for a trial!

And then the trial she does finally do is flipping cyclone. And STILL she's camp leader so exempt from chores....

So what is she DOING?

blackfluffycat · 08/12/2023 23:50

Sam or Nigel to win.

I've always liked Nigel. Plus you can tell he's a good guy with how his daughter reacted. My dad never hugged me.

blackfluffycat · 09/12/2023 00:10

I hate these scenes . DH has been military 23 years. He comes home approx 2 weekends a month when he's not fighting or training.

Even after Afghanistan we just said hi. Although I know that isn't notable. I'm autistic and I don't go hugs.

I've only been to his camp once in 18 years never meet him at the airport after 6 months away. But I suppose if you aren't used to being separate it must be hard.

Just think of all that money 😖😖

blackfluffycat · 09/12/2023 00:11

Plus not seen my DH cry once EVER

whynotwhatknot · 09/12/2023 00:18

they wouldnt last in the army wo9uld they

anyway still reeling over josie getting to do the cyclone-what an easy ride shes had

at least nigel does things and he must be in pain alot

MeinKraft · 09/12/2023 00:39

Matt Hancock striding confidently up the cyclone GrinGrin

I liked the way Nigel and his daughter were just like hello, no drama or tears. When my dad was alive it was completely normal for us not to see each other for a few weeks at a time and we managed not to spontaneously combust at the sight of each other even after a while!

Well she definitely had tears

ShitIforgothelves · 09/12/2023 07:54

What was the trial last night? I was out.

rockingbird · 09/12/2023 08:17

Sad to see Marvin go last night especially as it should have been Josie! Nigel has done remarkably well to still be in there and is always busy doing something in camp.. he tried to keep Sam in check which shows a different side to him. I'll never be a fan of his but good on him for getting this far. I think it's a given Sam will go on to win! Really felt the connection between Tony and his wife, not often you see a man so emotional and truly in love like that. I thought that was very special 🥰

RedRiverShore4 · 09/12/2023 08:21

I think we are looking at who is going to be second now, which could be any of them really, Sam has the win in the bag.

JaneJeffer · 09/12/2023 08:23

I think Farage is going to win. I've seen lots saying they're voting for him just to annoy people who don't agree with his politics.

itsgettingweird · 09/12/2023 08:40

margotmargeaux · 08/12/2023 23:12

Yes he's proving that he's not the monster people
make him out to be.
Whether or not you agree with his politics, he has been a great camp mate, getting stuck in, no drama or hysterics. Just a steady, reasonable presence in there.

His daughter pretty much said that.

It appeared to along the lines of people seeing the real him and not the person they think he is.

She seemed really nice

itsgettingweird · 09/12/2023 08:43

I don't think Tony is annoyed by Sam as much as we see or that Sam never leaves Tony alone as much is made out.

Last night they showed a scene where Sam was doing some Jurassic park tune and Tony joined him and pretended to be a dinosaur with him 😂

OhhhhhhhhBiscuits · 09/12/2023 09:11

I abhor Nigel's politics and his work ethics but in his personal life he does seem like a decent chap. These are words I never thought I would say in a million years, and I think a lot of people would say the same.

I was surprised Marvin went out last night as he has had a good few days with all the trials he has done.

Blondeshavemorefun · 09/12/2023 09:15

Josie will be star one

theconfidenceofwho · 09/12/2023 09:32

Im still liking Josie and voting for her.

I do love these threads and the mix of opinions as I often feel like I'm watching a different show to a lot of you so its good to understand all sides.

burnoutbabe · 09/12/2023 09:49

I think having Nigel in is overall good for the show.

We need "older" people. Pity the older woman left so early this year.

It shouldn't just be a twenty or thirty something show (I know Fred is older and nick was 48)

Nigel seems okay there. Throwing himself into it, but bossy but wants to keep camp clean. Probably not one to sleep all day like others.

I'll vote for him to be final 3. Not fussed about him winning but then I am not fussed on other 3 so May as well still vote for him.

Netaporter · 09/12/2023 10:26

I think it would be impossible to keep up an act for this length of time, so we have to assume we are seeing the real Nigel, and the real Nigel has been unfailingly polite and considerate. Whatever your views on politics, he did shine a light on what was happening in the European Parliament and how it affected the UK. And I’m no brexiteer.

One issue I am being a bit cynical about….Sam has been engaged to Zara for 4 years. Zara has been out of strictly for weeks, and even if Sam asked Pete to be his ‘family’ I cannot understand why she hasn’t arrived anyway? Surely there’s an ITV reality series they could do together? Or has PW decided they need the publicity for their podcast? 🤔

I’m afraid I’ve gone right off Josie. She’s definitely 2 faced - bitching about Nigel to the others but then having chummy chats with him in the van?

Nigel surely can’t do celebrity cyclone can he? He’s got a spinal column injury. I assumed they’d do it before Marvin left.

Marvin meeting Rochelle in the camp was just lovely. They seem to be a very genuine couple.

Quartz2208 · 09/12/2023 10:46

Zara would need I think to be in strictly training next week to complete the finale dance so I imagine Monday start date

Netaporter · 09/12/2023 11:11

@Quartz2208 fair point. Apparently she offered to go but he told her that PW was already coming 😳

WillowTit · 09/12/2023 11:13

what is the deal with Sam's mum?

FlamingBlue · 09/12/2023 11:21

I'm hoping Josie is out today but don't think ITV will let that happen. If I ever see Sam on my screen again it will be too soon - since I don't normally watch this type of programme it shouldn't be too difficult. Happy for either Tony or Nigel to win.

It's mind boggling that people love Farage Confused

I agree! His comments about 'women throwing themselves' at MPs, and thinking about 'women' on that flight made me feel a little sick. Feel sorry that his daughter will presumably watch that.

I like the others - especially Tony, seems to be the most genuine.
