FreshWinterMorning

100% agree. It has amused me to read all the horror posts about him on here :D

It's hilarious isn't it? The Nigel Farage haters are so angry and pissed off. It's quite bizarre to see them getting more and more furious by the minute. And not only on here! The rage on Twitter/X this past few days (because Nigel is still in the jungle,) is fierce! They are furious that not as many people think like them as they would like. 😂

I don't engage with them of course. Stopped doing that quite a while ago now. Just not worth getting embroiled in a debate with someone who will absolutely 100% not see any points of view but their own, and who spout rude and derogatory insults at the drop of a hat!

MeinKraft · 09/12/2023 23:39

@FreshWinterMorning oh right I haven't noticed. Looking at Facebook I saw loads of people raging at Josie for some reason. People get very angry about these shows then after a couple of weeks hardly any of us will be able to name more than two people who were even in it Grin

Both sides act like this. If you hear the word, Gammon, Woke won't be far behind. The insults, on both sides, never change.

Fleamaker · 09/12/2023 23:48

I'd like Tony or Nigel to win.

I think Sam has sort of created an exaggerated image of himself, to be more memorable, but I just don't feel it's genuine. He's latched onto Tony and all the ridiculous hugs and 'love you's'??? Really??

Now THAT we can agree on! 😆

burnoutbabe · 09/12/2023 23:54

I mean last year we were all fancying Owen and where is he a year on???

I think it's funny people are slagging off Nigel for getting £1.5m. I mean would you offer to do it for less if you knew they'd give you £1.5? It's not a charity!

Not remotely true. The lefty-woke types are FAR more vitriolic and rude towards people who don't think like them. The rude and cruel insults that come out towards people who don't think like them are vile.

No way are centric and right-leaning people as vitriolic towards people who don't share their views, as left-leaning people are. Nowhere near.....

I had to Google him!! The only people I can remember are Matt Hancock, Chris moyles because he was so crap at trials and mike Tindall.

BoredofBlonde · 09/12/2023 23:59

Wonder if we missed the "showdown" Josie said about with Fred? Did they air it and I missed it?

Surely it wasn't just that little verbal tussle that we did see, it was hardly a "showdown"!

I had to google Owen! 😆 I genuinely could not remember him at all!

Also agree about Nigel. Nothing wrong with him taking £1.5 million at all! Anyone would.

FreshWinterMorning · 10/12/2023 00:01

We are almost at the end of the thread. Is it even worth starting a new one for ONE episode? Confused

Night all. I'm off to bed. Sweet dreams. Grin

KnickerlessParsons · 10/12/2023 00:03

Cyclone was definitely tamed down, we were here waiting for the big one that pushes them all down.

There's no way they were going to let them fail it.

CapitalKnockers · 10/12/2023 00:08

Voting should be based on what you're seeing on screen in the jungle, not the life outside. In which case Nigel has been fine. Put aside the politics (and to be fair it's the other campmates that have raised it with him every time) and he doesnt seem any different to anyone else.

I hope Tony wins.

Owen ?

Owen who

Actually mean that. I can't think of an Owen

MeinKraft · 10/12/2023 00:11

@Blondeshavemorefun he came second 😂

TitsInAbsentia · 10/12/2023 00:15

Had all but forgotten about Owen from Hollyoaks!

JaneJeffer · 10/12/2023 00:25

The people voting for Farage are in cloud cuckoo land with all the talk of haters. I haven't seen one post on here from anyone saying they hate him or anyone getting all worked up.

Tony in them shorts though 😘

TitsInAbsentia · 10/12/2023 00:15

Had all but forgotten about Owen from Hollyoaks!

Is it a contractual thing there needs to be one person from Hollyoaks in every series?

fridaynight1 · 10/12/2023 00:39

I'm voting for Nigel because he is the only one in camp being himself. He may be a bit grumpy sometimes but so what? He has been a gentleman throughout. And non of the silly attention seeking games all the others have played. I include Sam and Tony in this.

The Sam and Tony love in is totally fake. They both need to go.
Sam is doing my head in - I think he is a nice man but he is as irritating as hell.
And Tony - Sam clearly pisses him off but he's gritting his teeth and playing along because he knows he will look like a twat if he doesn't. Both are playing a game that neither can escape. I'll eat my hat if they remain best friends after this.

These are my thoughts exactly!

Sam as lovely as he may be, just comes across as OTT or even fake. He would drive me mad with his lack of spatial awareness (real or fake) and ADHD doesn’t excuse it, he’s using it as an aid IMO. This is from a parent of adult children with ASD, ADHD and OCD.
He’s playing up to the cameras at all times.

Glad Josie has gone, she should have gone days ago.

It’s been obvious for a while that Sam will win - and I think it’ll be Tony second, Nigel 3rd.

I would like it to be Tony the winner, Nigel 2nd and Sam 3rd, but that’s not going to happen.

ADHD, literally attention deficit hyperactivity disorder is linked to lack of perceived spacial awareness, dyspraxia and so on.

Isn't it off how a disability is inconvenient when it disabled people.

As I have already said, my own adult children are ND including ADHD. I understand totally how it impacts. I just think Sam is overstating it.
I’m also on the spectrum myself 🤷‍♀️

I had never heard of Sam (or many of the others in the show) before but have read that he wasn’t like this in other reality shows. Getting a dx doesn’t change anything other than understanding why we are the way we are.

It's a crazy amount to pay a politician who was hoping to grab the airtime and use it as a PR campaign for himself and therefore his party a year before a general election. He should have been paying them to get into camp! But the £1.5m fee is the fault of ITV for offering it, not Farage for accepting it.

Choux · 10/12/2023 02:17

Actually annoyed Josie went tonight, even though I wanted her gone before a lot of the others, she went at the ideal time, gets to do cyclone, leaves before the big eating /trial for their favourite meals and gets a night in a fancy hotel getting pampered and fed, then will meet the rest at the end all rested, washed, made up, smelling nice etc, I wanted her to come 3rd , having had to do the final trial as she dodged so many, smelling like crap having to cross the bridge to the ones already out all clean and made up.

100% this. I think she would have been dreadful at the eating trial but got to do the fun cyclone. She gets the glory of being last woman standing but Danielle was better at the trials.

jojom10 · 10/12/2023 06:46

I've met and worked with Sam in real life. He was polite and charming but in no way over the top and nothing like the way he is behaving in the jungle. This is all an act and he is performing for the cameras. I find it incredibly irritating but I expect he'll win.
