I think Bernie wants to spill but Keanu and Sharon are the only ones being supportive to her right now. She's a bit shell shocked and lost, no job, precarious living arrangement, the community being very anti Karen and a bit suspicious,... Sharon being nice to her, being protective and including her in her family is probably very appealing to her as she is so vulnerable. That will likely all disappear if/ when the plot is found out. Maybe there is also an element of doing what Karen would want, she fell on her sword to protect Keanu and would want the siblings to stick together and keep the secret.

I have never liked Stacey. She has treated the few decent men in her life (Bradley, Martin) like crap and seems to only be attracted to men if they are married/unavailable. I feel very sorry for her kids. Really what chance do Lily and Hope have with her as an example😭

I think they’ve tried to characterize her as a tough but loveable rough diamond who makes bad choices with men, a modern day Pat Butcher. But she’s actually just gruesome and yes very sleazy.

I agree about Bradley , until someone pointed out that he made her have an abortion and didn't want her at his work gathering once as she was too common ! He didn't always treat her well

Yeah poor Bernie has no-one really. I’m surprised they kept her character on. She never has any meaningful storylines and is kind of drifting around with no purpose.

It’s ridiculous that she can’t find a FT job and is reduced to doing the breakfast shift in the Vic. IRL she could walk into any number of high street retail or hospitality roles as London has more vacancies than applicants in those sectors and everyone is crying out for staff. But this is EE where no-one ever job hunts outside of Walford.

That tube is ONLY ever used when people are leaving the square in dramatic circumstances. Otherwise London Underground is like kryptonite and certainly can’t be used to travel and find a job!

Agree, the Tube is a mystical thing in EE.. as are dating / shagging anyone else in the whole of London who doesnt live in Walford (apart from Eves recent girlfriend, most cosmopolitan!), and finding jobs outside the borough!

Yeah why are they always getting black cabs everywhere when the tube is right there? Remember when Max was working for the Wilmott Browns in Canary Wharf and was driving there everyday. It’s about 5 stops on the DLR!

It always amazes me that everyone on EE is apparently skint, but they can afford to take black cabs, go out for drinks in the pub/The Albert/Peggy’s multiple times a week, get their nails and hair done regularly, and constantly pop in to Walford East for lunch or the caff for breakfast and hot drinks! I always want to shout at people like Billy in particular to either pop home for a cuppa or bring a bloody Thermos flask out with him! 😆
