Les doesn't seem too bothered.

We're always told that because someone is a showbiz or sporting legend, or because someone has a massive following on social media, that they will be hoovering up the votes but that never seems to bear out. The Strictly audience seem to play it pretty fair in not voting for a celeb based purely on their pre-Strictly career.

Aw come now. No need to put the boot in. His kids are lovely, his wife obviously saw something in him and was there to support, he gave a gracious speech. He's made some pre Xmas cash and as someone had to go first, he's took one for the team and I'm quite glad as he didn't fall to pieces and cry. Hate it when the first boots cry.

Talking of boots - Zara as Kitty Softpaws doing a paso to Americano would be all my fantasies come true (albeit I always had Gorks as Puss-in-Boots).

I'm not sure about the age thing with Carlos, but I get the feeling that he's older than he seems. I think that he's an amazingly charismatic dancer when he gets the chance. Does anyone remember him with ProNikita dancing to 'Mad About the Boy'?

I don't think that Les is looking well. His face seems very puffy.

I think Les used to be quite slim, so it's now that he's just a bit chunkier. Apparently in real life he's quite small.
