I didn't pick up on him wanting to be a sole provider, I thought he'd be looking to be a joint income household, not having to work to provide her with a lifestyle she claimed to be accustomed to. Feel that Terence is expert at deflecting and minimising. Saying hello in such an effusive way to other people and ignoring Porscha was a purposefully provocative move at a time that was actually an opportunity to mend fences. Really disappointed that none of the guys had the courage to call him out over that. Someone should have told him that wasn't on.

Porscha is ridiculous too, but Terence shouldn't be given a free pass.

I think they've put Nathaniel in an impossible position tbh. They might have told him that his partner was going to be trans but did they explain exactly what that meant?
He might have been expecting a man (with no surgery or dresses but just changed their pronouns) or a non-binary person (male or female with different pronouns) or a queer person (either sex with no surgery). Since most transpeople don't have surgery, he probably didn't expect Ella at all. But if he says anything about Ella being trans, he will get completely hounded by activists. It's actually why having the term transsexual worked better rather than putting everyone under transgender.
Tbh it's put Ella in a rubbish situation too.

I have also noticed the deflecting, minimising, the passive aggressive [very aggressive] way he deals with Porscha, talking over her, never listening, a disdainful, sneery look on his face.....I've known this in real life and to see it played out on screen sent chills down my spine.
I think he's a bad 'un. Yes, they aren't matched, she's a complete attention seeking drama queen, but he is awful.

Terrance couldn’t win. If he had said “hi” and something like “hope we can talk later” it would never have been good enough Porscha would have still sat there with a pout on moaning about him all night and it would have still kicked off at some point when they did talk.

I thought they would be given a budget and told to buy things themselves but I suppose it does make sense!

Laura from a previous season confirmed they have to provide their own clothes.

As you could be there for months it was a big financial commitment. She ended up buying cheap clothes and getting them tailored.

She did manage to negotiate some money for her honeymoon clothes as she'd bought resort clothing but ended up going to freezing cold Germany.
