Apparently there have been issues sharing videos on the SCD threads in the past so, to ensure it doesn’t interfere with the chat, here’s a thread just for your favourite SCD and SCD related videos.

I’ll start with an old fave, Shirley Ballas dancing a Rumba demo at a clinic with fellow ex-pro Michael Chapman.

Wow, thanks for all of those, how wonderful! Love the quickstep anyway, and struck again with sadness that AJ had to withdraw injured in the final week, she was sublime.

Thanks for these throwback videos @CaveMum. AJ was so good, such a shame she had to withdraw, and I adored Pasha on Strictly, he was always such a sweetheart.

Lovely videos @xsquared. Like others I do wish they would have more "explainers" as it would help to engage with the viewers more and give them something to look for when watching the live show.

Meant to add, Len did a number of shows for the BBC on dance which are worth tracking down if you can find them!

Not really related to Strictly at all, but I was wondering if there were any clips of Layton in Billy Elliot, and I found this. It talks a bit about the dance training, but I'm really
just sharing it because Tom Holland was adorable!

For getting back on topic, here's one of Layton. He comes across so well in these, and some of his VTs.

I just wish he could turn the "yaas, queen" stuff down a bit in his actual dances! I think that is his performance mode, which is fair enough, but it doesn't really suit a waltz or rumba.

This is a very sweet video of Layton when he had just got Billy Elliot. What a little cutie, and a precocious talent! I laughed out loud when he looked absolutely delighted with the tutu he had to wear, then quickly said "it's not really for me". I'm glad he is able to authentically be himself now!

Love this pros dance with Oti and Graziano as the leading characters.

Nigel and Katya will be dancing to this song, which I think will be a rumba rather than American Smooth since Lakita will be performing that.

Lots of comments on the main thread with people saying they don't know "Bills Bills Bills" by Destiny's Child, so here we go.
