Apparently there have been issues sharing videos on the SCD threads in the past so, to ensure it doesn’t interfere with the chat, here’s a thread just for your favourite SCD and SCD related videos.

I’ll start with an old fave, Shirley Ballas dancing a Rumba demo at a clinic with fellow ex-pro Michael Chapman.

One of my guilty pleasures is watching tangos on YouTube (there are some amazing dancers) and a little while ago I came across Aoniken Quiroga. A very large man but an incredible dancer.

That clip of Layton is just wonderful, thanks for sharing. What a natural talent he was. His technique after 2 years of street and just 9 months of ballet is extraordinary. I wish I'd seen him in the role.

Yes, what a gorgeous kid, and so talented! Also, I’d assumed he’d been in Billy Elliot as an adult professional, which obviously confused me - as the adult Billy Elliot, performing in Matthew Bourne’s Swan Lake? That’s a tiny part, right at the end! - didn’t realise it had been in the main role, years ago.

I'm a bit surprised they cast children who haven't done any tap or ballet. It sounds like he had quite a lot of time before he actually started performing to learn it, but the big tap routine is hard!
