Right result. I thought Zara was quite good but maybe people just don't really know who she is. Expect Nikita's relieved!

Early bath for Gorka. Ah well. He's got Ken adulation tomorrow to look forward to, maybe a Xmas Strictly and time off with the baby.

As expected then...

I think Gorka will be relieved. The VT suggested that this week was hard work! - lots of tears on her part. Plus, he gets to spend more time with his family (including very new baby) so that seems a better outcome than painfully dragging Nikita through a few more weeks. They made an awkward couple - she was too tall for him, for a start!

Bless her she tried hard but it was the right result and I'm sure no surprise to her or Gorka. I'm glad Nigel avoided the DO.

I said the same to DD - there can't be a huge crossover between Strictly viewers and Love Island viewers.

Definitely right result. She seemed very unhappy. I expect Zara out next, then Jody, then Adam.

Id like to see Zara & Jody out soon & then I'm not sure as I enjoy watching everyone else.

I imagine that there are far too many women of a certain age who get fanny gallops when they look at Nigel, and will vote for him even if he doesn't dance very well one week.

It's like Amanda, as far as I am concerned - I will vote for her regardless, because I want her to win.

I think the final will be Amanda, Ellie, Nigel and Layton.

Amanda or Ellie for the win. Probably Ellie because she isn't an obvious ringer like the others.

I gave one of my votes to Jody yesterday because I couldn't bear to see someone who only had two days' practice, on a painful stump as well, get voted off so soon.

But Zara will probably be next off, then Jody.

Not sure who'll be after them - Adam, unless he suddenly improves.

I'd like to see AR out as soon as possible. She makes me cringe.

I think Angela Rippon is definitely in the Early Bath mix possibly after Zara and Jody

To be fair, I couldn't dance like her and I'm quite a bit younger (although just about drawing a pension these days) but she is up against some excellent competition and I'm sure she knows that she cannot win.

It's a pity she wasn't persuaded to do it years ago, when she might have given some of them a real run for their money.

It's not really about her dancing ability at this stage, it's the twee and dull routines. What happened to Week 1?

I feel the same about Layton - he's too much of a diva for my liking.

I'm not struck on that young lad from the soap (Corrie) either, but that's just because he gets on my wick.

Actually I'm wondering if Angela S will make the final rather than Layton.

I am not convinced Layton will definitely be in the final .

If no DO then yes obviously...
but towards the end , if in a DO I can see the judges not saving him as he has reached as far in his " journey" as he can , and the other dancer maybe still has more to give, improve?

They are marking him as a professional I think ?
