Ok, here goes -
Not happy that Nadiya is on the bench but suspect it may have been her choice. Can't be easy committing to the full schedule as a single mother with a young child.
Angela and Kai - mixed feelings. Like Angela and wanted her to have a good pro but also wanted Kai to have a good long run (remember all the Catherine Cookson fanfic?) and the older female contestants often get ditched very quickly, and often a bit unfairly.
Other Angela and Carlos - Like this Angela, too, and I think we will get to know Carlos more when he's partnered with someone with a bit of personality.
Zara and Graziano - will poor Graziano ever be partnered with someone who isn't box office poison?
Annabel and Johannes - it will be interesting to see Johannes with a different type of celebrity. Have a feeling the partnership will be great but not necessarily where it counts.
Nikita and Gorka - glad he hasn't been partnered with Ellie just because she's short and northern but I'm not sure the public will warm to Nikita.
Ellie and Vito - ok, this may be coloured by the fact that the last time I saw Ellie on the television she was playing a rather dreary 10 year old schoolgirl, but I think this partnership is going to have zero chemistry, and I wanted Vito to be partnered with someone with whom he had major chemistry.
Amanda and Graziano - think this is going to be completely flat or completely theatrical, and can't decide which.
Layton and Nikita - noooooo, I love little, sweet Nikita and think Layton is going to be majorly irritating. Although it does probably mean that we keep Nikita all the way to the final (which he'll lose).
Eddie and Karen - don't know a thing about Eddie but, from the couple of clips I've seen of him, he seems very likeable, so this is the partnership I feel will work the most. (As long as the public don't do for him like they did for Mr Charles Venn - the fuckers!)
Bobby and Dianne - again, not that familiar with him but he seems quite sweet. I just feel that this dynamic with Dianne has been done before and he would have been more exciting with someone else.
Adam and Luba - don't rate Luba as a pro but it will be interesting to see if she is any better with someone who isn't a terrified sportsman.
Les and Nancy - I think Les will need someone he can bounce off, Little to his Large, Cannon to his Ball, and I'm not sure if Nancy is that person. Alternatively, it could be fascinating.
Nigel and Katya - I find Katya's choreography a bit gimmicky at times, but at least you know she's not going to squander Nigel. She always gets her celeb as far as they can go.
Krishnan and Lauren - thought Lauren came across well last year so it will be interesting to see what she can do with Krishnan. Hope he gets a good run.
Jody and Jowita - really impressed with Jowita last year. Think this could be a good pairing.
