I'm hooked - really wish Vanessa would dial it down though! I was a big fan of her BBC radio show, she's a very bright woman, but she's definitely going to put viewers backs up!

chloe is bff with millie from love island and they live in essex somewhere etc etc

i love chloe and she's so entertaining (to me, anyway) although i don't see what dr t is adding to the programme and the end of agency gala party isn't the mini break to greece (etc) that they used to have.

rob beckett has been an utter legend this series and i have been pmsl regularly.

i think vanessa's been badly edited tbh and she probably shouldn't have done it so soon after her breakup but vassever (as bruno would say).

i love mark francis though.

I love Chloe too, I think she's fab. I did laugh when she told Gaby she shouldn't take Spudz back 🤣

Also, when Chloe met her friends for a chat in one episode, I missed the entire chat as I had spent so long trying to work out if her friend Millie was Millie Court - she looked so so different 😭

Yeah, it made me feel quite sad as Millie was always very natural looking. She has now succumbed to the hair extensions, inflated lips and face fillers. She was beautiful as she was. I wish people wouldn't feel that they have to do this.

Chloe didn't speak much different when on LI. In her intro she sounded posher but not during the actual show

After what he said about his mum leaving him as a young teen, I can imagine that the Lottie leaving in the middle of the night might have played to his insecurities.

And fair enough if he doesn’t want to take on someone with substance abuse issues. She made it clear she fell off the wagon in some way. That’s a lot to deal with in a brand new relationship, I’d walk away too.

perhaps the posh accent is what she uses for work and slipped into her own accent during LI.

Ok just watched the last episode and I did actually warm to Adam. I think he’s nicer and has a bit more intelligence than your standard fuck boy. Obviously don’t think he and Lottie will go anywhere at all, but still. He’s not as terrible as I first thought, and neither is she.

I actually warmed to Adam, too. I also would have run for the hills re: Lottie. If the sexes had been reversed, I think most folk would be shouting red flag. To coin a phrase I used to use in my own dating days, I'm not here to fix people.

Did the series used to be longer? They often seemed to have more serious connections than they do now

This is the first time I've watched it and I'm hooked ... is it worth watching previous series? Any series stand out? I love the rob Beckett quips. I like Vanessa, she takes no shit and I'm going to take a leaf out of her book if I get a date I don't like... just stop wasting time and walk away.

I liked season 4, Oli Locke, Sam Thompson, Gemma Collins, Talia Stone etc.

I also thought it was longer but research showed they have all been 20 episodes with only one season at 23 episodes.

They didn't bring in new celebrities half way through or jet off on holiday at the end which is always an incentive to get chosen even if they can't stand the celeb.

At the end of the series, I've now changed my opinion of Lottie. I think she seems very manipulating and she pretended to like Adam because she knew it would keep her in the limelight.

My take always from the series.
I really liked Lottie’s hair bows.
Vanessa was too fragile to be on this, she was spiky especially to the poor restaurant owner date. She went on cbb after her marriage break up and was memorable but not always for the best reasons.
The new agency woman was a pointless addition. I don’t think it worked.
The gala aka a bit of a do is no holiday to Greece.
Mark made me laugh. I enjoyed seeing the brief appearance of RyandashMark.
I thought it was a weak series compared to some of the others but watched it all the same!

Just finished it! So disappointed Spudds chose drippy, whispery Gabby. Can't see that lasting at all.

Loved the Ryan-Mark cameo - he's terrible but it was funny.

There are 2 series with Pete Wicks. Both are great, he's such good value. Esp the one with Sam T

the series with charlotte dawson and frankie cocoza (probs not spelt right) is fabulous too

and also the girl from hollyoaks and ferne mc cann one ("big legs. fucking "big legs"?" is still a thing with me) and georgie porter with the charming arm. i still do the charming arm now. it's got me nowhere but i like to pretend i'm on cgd looking foxy and knowing what i'm doing etc etc.

also i didn't recognise millie court either. wtaf. she's chaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaanged.
