I was really touched by Vanessa’s lovely relationship with her daughter and it made me think that she needs to be licking her wounds right now with the comfort of her children/grandchildren and friends. Not going on some shitty dating show that doesn’t deserve her amazing brain and that can’t even begin to hold her in a period of intense grief.
She seems angry which is a stage of grief and to be honest I’d be impatient with the so called therapists who are matching her up with people who are clearly not going to be a match for her intellectually or emotionally.
The story of how her ex partner gave less and less love was so tragic and it made me wonder why she tolerated such scraps for so long when she’s got the whole world going for her.
Chloe is obviously an alcoholic who needs to stop playing the part of dumb blonde with a hard edge. Her affectations are cringeworthy to the extreme and her confused notion of feminism is off-putting to say the least. That voice, no one could put up with it surely! Fast forward 10 years and her insides will match her outsides.
Lottie refers to herself as confident but all I see is a fragile little girl with incredibly low self-esteem. Only Fans!? Come on, there were so many avenues she could have pursued. What a vulnerable young woman she is. 😢
Spud seems a little bit of a laugh but is too ott and seems not to be able to be serious.
I mainly watch it for Rob Beckett’s hilarious responses.
The female therapist gives me cod-psychology/ school bully who trained to be a counsellor vibes and the male therapist is unrealistically perfect.
The new sex therapist is doing a good thing bringing sex positivity into this century but has no professional sexual boundaries herself and flirts with the men in the show.
Don’t get me started on that posh twat. What an awful classless, impolite human being!
