I recognise more people this year (I'm abroad so a lot of the TV personalities of the modern age pass me by).

I do hope Johannes doesn't get Layton as that will make it all about that and Johannes will cry a lot and I'll go off him like I did 2 years ago.

Do we know who will replace Amy? (I'm dipping in and out of the thread at the moment in a vain attempt not to get glitterball obsessed too early, so apols if it's already been mentioned!)

It's going to be so hard for Amy to watch on this year. (she's got breast cancer and is right in the thick of rounds of chemo, poor lass)

I hope that she can go on It Takes Two's Choreography Corner if she feels up to it.

I did a workshop with them years ago, and really liked him. He explained some things in a way I found really helpful.

He did get distracted and chat though and Katya would roll her eyes and get them back on track.

Oh my days. Late to "I love Suzie too" (saw the first one) and Billie Piper is all kinds of fabulous. Layton plays the host of the dance show
I'm only on episode one but the serial dancing (like one minute dating)/salsa workshop has to be based on right?!

Episode two even. I know they got round Ashley being a judge but Layton being a contestant when he parodies the show in this, is very meta! A four-week Xmas Strictly where the remaining contestants choose another contestant to dance with though, oof. Pick me dance indeed. Like being chosen for P.E. at school.
At least Strictly has always been vote to save, bless them and whilst I know, there are many who would love to see the voting figures published (myself included) at least slebs don't get feelings hurt.
God, I still remember Chizzy's reaction as a First Boot. At least Xmas Strictly rewrote things for her.

I hate Suzie too (Freudian slip above because I love Billie Piper) was brilliant. Hats off to Paul Roberts and Oli Metzler for the choreo. She was robbed of the Bafta.

I wondered whether she was. I follow her in Instagram, and she posted a photo of rwujion with Danny Mac, and thought she looked bustier in a dress that was probably worn to hide the rest of her figure.

I know she's been very poorly but can she not go on It Takes Two this series for the choreography corner in between her treatments?
Is that doable (my MIL was stage 4 and having radiotherapy but did things in between on her "good" days).
Assuming she had a contract in place, hopefully the BBC are paying her sick leave.
