I love Amanda, she used to be married to Martin Freeman.

Layton has had a lot of dance experience, so that’s fair then.

Amanda Abingdon is brilliant. Very outspoken on Twitter.

In former years she would have been considered too experienced. I suspect she will be fawned over.

My first thought every time Amanda is mentioned is that about a decade ago she was made bankrupt as she owed HMRC £120k. Her partner at the time with whom she had 2 children was Martin Freeman reportedly worth £10m.

I imagine she is not financially minded / had a lousy accountant but the fact he let the mother of his children go bankrupt when he had millions makes me really dislike him. Legally he had no responsibility as they weren't married but they were a family and it wouldn't have affected his lifestyle at all to bail her out. There was a lot of bad publicity and then suddenly it was 'all being sorted out' so presumably he saw light in the end.

Yes I remember that all bring discussed on here he came across like an arsehole.

Her current partner is now a wheelchair user following an accident, she has not had it easy.

Those celebs were named by the Sun, so I assume the rest of their leaks were also correct.

Angela came across well. I'm not sure that Amanda was delighted that Angela immediately talked about their shared history of doing ballet up to the age of 17 - I think that's raised expectations for her unhelpfully. She had a fairly messy split from Martin Freeman once he became a proper Hollywood star, then got engaged in 2021 to a stuntman who almost immediately suffered disastrous injuries.

Layton is a fully fledged professional dancer, absolutely ringertastic. I think he's going to need a pretty good partnership in order to connect with the voting public.

I love Amanda Abbington! She recently left Twitter and a lot of people thought it was because she was being hounded for her pro-women tweets, but I wonder if this might also be connected.

I imagine Angela Ripon will be good, we all know she has form as well as fabulous legs!

She's like a toned down Debbie McGee, her dance experience (much less than Debbie) is offset by her age (much older).
