I was trying to explain to my OH who Layton is, based purely on what I read on here and that aerobics class-style “dance” video linked somewhere upthread, and having completely forgotten his name.

”Not… not Louis Spence?!?” was his appalled reply.

Really not looking forward to Laytons dances. I don't think he should be in there, just like Ashley from pussycat dolls should never have done it - she's a professional dancer FGS. I don't give a shit that they say ballroom and Latin is completely different, no it isn't, especially when you put in dance moves from your past training 🙄

I hope if these two do end up paired up (and this doesn't mean they will be) they stay in at least til quarter finals. I would hate Jojo to think any lack of public support was down to racism or homophobia (it wouldn't be, any backlash would be about Layton being a ringer and a cocky sod!).

I don't care what Layton wears tbh - both Billy Porter and Harry Styles have paved the way in that regard - but he isn't the first man to wear a dress on the franchise itself. In the same way that Nyle danced to silence on DWTS (not taking away from Rose but it had been done before), Shane Jenek danced in a variety of outfits both in drag and as himself.
