Bit of an underwhelm I was expecting someone bigger

I thought there was going to be someone in a wheelchair this year? But I have probably missed something.

Yes I'm a bit meh 😕 I thought for a moment it was going to be Bradley walsh!

Is he not a big name? I was under the impression he's pretty well known among 'older' people, but probably not for those under 45ish.

Yep I think that's a big name and the older male celebrity that was needed!

I mean Les is well known but he really hasn't got the best personality imo and takes himself far to serious for a light entertainer .

Only know a few of the names.
Not especially thrilled with any.
Though of course it's usually the ones I don't know that I warm to.
To be honest though I always forget who won(with the odd exception-caroline,Jay and Rose being the ones that come to mind first)
I cannot think who won last year at all!!?

I like the line-up. I'm not too concerned about who wins. But I have impure thoughts about Graziano, so I'd like to see him go all the way (ahem...😉)

Les Dennis absolutely didn't take himself too seriously on Extras - really looking forward to him bringing the old school prime time back to BBC Saturday nights!

At least Ellie saved him from the Casualty theme, although there are still plenty of Doctor tunes to use (Bad case of loving you jive perhaps?)

I don't know the rest but I fell early for unknown-to-me Hamza last year so Eddie or Jody might win me over. I would have been rooting for Amanda's other half had they been doing it (Jonathan Goodwin) but the rumours about contestant in a wheelchair turned out to be just that (Dancing on Wheels was good but I don't know how much experience they already had).

I take it back I forgot Les .did the pilgrimage and he was lovely. As an aside I love the pilgrimage I'm not religious at all but it's a lovely programme.

I'm really underwhelmed by this year's line up. Obviously I'll still be watching, but it isn't great

You'd have thought Les would do Hairspray, will be interesting whether they go for Movie Week as he might not be in it long enough for Musicals. You can't stop the beat has been done to death, mind. Yeah he's doing 42nd Street tour. I'd be annoyed if I'd booked Saturday tickets for it hoping to see him.
