Hollyoaks did an incest story with Rhys and his long lost half sister, who happened to be arrive as a student in the village, called Beth. They found out they were siblings but still carried on. They ran away together when family and authorities found out and Rhys had a car car crash which killed her. 😂

Aussie soap ' sons and daughters ' in the 80s had an incest one too. They were long lost , didn't know they were related etc etc

My former school was used as a setting for the boarding school that 'Mary', from '3 Men &...' was going to be sent to (I'm actually in it, from behind, looking like a marrow, and exceptionally non-descript). With the stereotypical "kooky" headmistress of a public school. Irony is that the area isn't actually that posh at all. Hundreds of years ago, maybe - but not at the time the film was made, and definitely not now. (Although it's not an old film, for goodness sake. I'm only 47.)

Although Napoleon II or III's widow did buy the house the school once was, so that she could "overlook" her son's grave in the nearby Abbey. Now that's a sad story, that the EE writers might like to explore and incorporate with actual compassion for the wider family. I mean, Lola was the mother of Kathy's son's daughter, and she's more concerned about the wedding we all know isn't going to happen.

I do keep waiting for one of the Square kids to be sent to a public school, actually, purely because we had 5 in a very Walford-esque area. Or even just one that specialises in SEN - Ollie, maybe?

I see a lot of similarities between Lexi and the Ben who liked dancing and musicals. At the time, the clumsy writers were "it means the lad is gay,,,", which stereotype much?! But Lexi... ? As long as they don't try to turn her into a hard-nosed Mitchell woman, or simply a stripper, all will be well. Here's hoping that Jay and Honey stay in her life, and Will doesn't develop feelings for her in a few years...
