I admit I’m not too keen on Lauren, she only has two modes - sullen, and shouty/angry. There’s no subtlety there. I mean, I know it’s only a soap, but most other actors manage to do okay.

I’m loving Bobby when he’s all confused and overwhelmed by the two Knight girls, he’s very believable like that!

And I’m looking forward to Cindy if she stays. I don’t think I was watching when she was in it previously so she’s a new character for me.

Definitely not that unusual - my mother's sister married my father's brother. They met at the wedding. I have 3 double first cousins, as a result - but we're not close. Although the oldest's daughter is weirdly the absolute image of me as a child (family have mistaken her for my child, sort of spitting image). What's probably unusual is that my aunt and uncle are also my godparents...

I actually feel really sorry for Bobby. Yes, he murdered Lucy... and then beat his stepmother nearly to death,,, but he's seemingly rehabilitated now (I can't remember if it was some sort of psychotic break or spoilt soap brat...) and who's he got? His stepmother (who covered up his initial crime) has vanished out of his life for pastures new. His biological mother is dead. The man who would probably have been a better father left on a canal boat with Jay's stepmother. His actual father abandoned him for an old love interest - and their son followed suit. And it's clear that he misses/loves both of them.
He's not got any sort of a relationship with his Uncle Ben or Cousin Lexi. ~

Who faked her own death, abandoned Ben to The Mitchells and Ian to uncertain MH, and is now living in Lou Beale (who loathed Kathy Hills)'s house as the Beale Family Matriarch.

I hope Cindy does come back to Walford, if only to get under Kathy's skin in a way that only Lou used to be able to (not touching on the psychology of why Ian fell for a replica of his Gran - except to say that it does happen...)

I hope Cindy goes back to the square, be fun to watch certain characters heads exploding (like ours have)

But like a PP said, hardly anyone on the square will have a clue who Cindy is. Kathy, Sonia? Martin, Sharon…..oh and Phil I guess. Maybe Ben a bit I suppose - am I missing anyone obvious? (Except the Knights obviously)

I re watched the 90s years with Cindy Ian David etc during covid
It was great viewing.
But I don't buy they would get together again. Unless both are faking.
