Thanks! I really hope that she writes a Northern Thailand recipe book where she makes the recipes accessible for people who cannot source the full range of ingredients. It is my favourite cuisine.

A very well deserved win. I loved her and her food was amazing. What a great series that was. I’ve watched every episode right from the very first Masterchef and that series was a corker. It’s great to see it so fresh after so long.

Mung dal Halwa is made from yellow lentils. It is very popular in India. There are several different types of halwas with different main ingredients like carrot, semolina, gram flour and even potato.

Thanks for the clarification @Caramelatt! I’m more familiar with the Middle Eastern halva made from sesame/tahini.
