There seems to be an awful lot to clear up next week as it's 12 of 12 in this storyline. (Mel, Harry, Charlie, Josh coming back plus are we supposed to just forget (pun intended) about the man with memory loss or will they finish his story line).

So I can't see them adding a custody battle into the mix!!

What happened to wee girl Zoe was looking after ages ago? Does anyone remember?

Eventually after struggling looking after her (I think balancing career and looking after her? Can't remember details) the girl went to live her grandparents

@purpleme12 I am sure someone further up thread said they are now in 12 week stories with a break in between but I can't remember how long the break was

I suspect the break will be conveniently variable, depending on big events they want to broadcast instead...

Great episode I have to say! I don't think Charlie is going to die - I reckon they will manage to save him, he will decide he's had enough, and disappear into the sunset...

I hope so - such long standing cast members deserve a happy ending.

They never get one, though, do they? No happy endings, happy weddings or straightforward marriages allowed. I think they have to sign a non-happy-ending waiver in lieu of an employment contract.

If he doesn’t die, I will have no faith he won’t pop up again next series. That man can’t keep away!

That said, even if they do kill him off, he’ll probably sneak back in while the writers are busy googling unusual injuries that might result in activating the major haemorrhage protocol…

Long time lurker on this thread but it's really bugging me since Saturday night's episode... what about poor Mel? Seems like Harry told Charlie where she was, then Charlie got into that hoo haa with your man & his box of pills & Mel got forgotten about! Is she now stuck there forever more? Or will she pop up this week, right as rain.

There were police out searching for her. I guess we'll find out more next episode.

Charlie also made a comment about how he would ring Paramedic Iain and ask him to go and look for her too once (once he knew what had happened).
