It's taking me forever to type - I'm back with late to work man (who I'm going to call Drug Bag Man now)

Outside chance he collapses from a heart attack or aneurysm. Something serious and fatal.

UsernameChangerRanger · 09/03/2024 22:05

Digital spy says he leaves next week.

LIZS · 09/03/2024 22:07

Drugdealer on the loose

ChrisPPancake · 09/03/2024 22:07

I watched it earlier. I'm sitting on my hands until you all say it's finished.

UsernameChangerRanger · 09/03/2024 22:08

Drug dealer does it. Has to be him.

Crazymadchickenlady · 09/03/2024 22:09

It’s over

UsernameChangerRanger · 09/03/2024 22:10

That's the most Charlie reaction to a major event!

Whu · 09/03/2024 22:11

Wow don’t usually comment on this thread but watch quietly. What an episode. Feeling a bit shell shocked!

LIZS · 09/03/2024 22:11

Do the cameras not have a panic button?

LIZS · 09/03/2024 22:11

And no trigger warnings or support line?

xSideshowAuntSallyx · 09/03/2024 22:11

Is next week's episode available anywhere or do I have to wait until next week?

Also for a moment thought Josh was going to come back as a vision on Charlie's death bed😬

UsernameChangerRanger · 09/03/2024 22:12

It was all a bit of a nothing that.

Not for me as I have loved ones working in an and e. It’s made me feel sick. The whole series has been so good and eye opening in my opinion.

Next week. I think they're available from around 6/7am on the day of broadcast.

Except Charliexit is in sight!!

I'm incredibly thrilled that Josh is making an appearance. Whether in body or surreal.

I'm sorry. I'm a bad person. But when drug dealer man told Charlie to pick the stuff up quickly I laughed - he can't do anything quickly!

Genuinely didn't expect him to go out dead though.

AllRevvedUpWithNoPlaceToGo · 09/03/2024 22:23

That felt like a Casualty of old with the big car accident and lots of patients all at once. Even my teenager sat down and watched it!

I'd love a happy ending to Charlie's story like him and Josh going travelling into the sunset, but unfortunately I think there is only one way now for him.

bizzey · 09/03/2024 22:38

Hummm....I feel weirdly flat after that episode....normally when it's a good episode ...I react or something at the end !! (Cos I am sad like that !😅)

But I have just realised ..there is another episode next week !

longtompot · 09/03/2024 22:41

I haven't really watched Casualty for years but recently got back into it over the past few months. For me that was a Casualty episode of old. You could see the disaster that was going to happen, but just watch it do its thing anyway.
Stevie didn't imagine a knife. I really hope bad cop wife is ok. I cheered last week when he was arrested. Even told my dd about it and she only has a passing interest in the programme.
Poor gas canister van driver :( Hope Teddy passes on his message to his wife.
Hope Charlie is ok too. To last this long in this show to leave by dying from a stab wound from a incompetent drug dealer

Rightthere · 09/03/2024 22:45

I liked that earlier we saw Charlie at his best, calming the man with concussion who thought his first wife was still alive.

WhatICallMyUsername · 09/03/2024 23:05

That episode was the most Charlie has said in total in about 2 years 🤣

spiderlight · 09/03/2024 23:11

The crash was like a proper old-school Casualty crash. It makes such a difference when you get to know the patients a bit. Poor Teddy is going to be traumatised.

I can't decide whether Charlie deserved a 'bigger' death (assuming he dies) or whether it was deliberately understated. I thought Harry was going to be directly involved in it. Would he have been back at work so soon after being arrested, being a policeman and all?

WhatICallMyUsername · 09/03/2024 23:11

And also this was the amazing storyline he came up with himself? Hospital staff being stabbed by a drug dealer patient

WhatICallMyUsername · 09/03/2024 23:12

We said the same @spiderlight. Surely he'd be suspended?
