I need to cook tea before kick off tonight. Wish I was at a party. Anyway, I caught up on SF2 tonight so I'm ready.

Earlier on Radio 2 I heard that during Sam Ryder's interval performance there will be a guest drummer. My thoughts were Nandi, who played at the Platinum Jubilee concert, possibly Mr Grohl or even Ringo Starr. Then I realised it's probably going to be Owain.

I do love Owain- but he does tend to get in on everything these days Grin

It's Owain's home turf as he's the weather presenter on Look North West. We know he can play. He presented from home during lockdown and his cat managed to get on screen more than once 😁

Owain doesn't do the weather here anymore, sadly, I think he left before Christmas. I used to love watching him during lockdown- always in a nice suit (when everyone was in pyjamas, probably Grin)

Owain is apparently as nice in real life as on TV. But he's now a big star and has departed north west tonight for bigger things... Strictly beckons at some point...

... I think there will be 12 of us tonight. We weren't going to dress up as we thought it was too much for one of the non Eurovision guys... Only for HIM to suggest it last night (that's where it's started getting a little crazy and my quieter night was vetoed!)

DH and his mate have just gone to the pub for a quick one though which doesn't bode well for the rest of the evening!

Everything is more or less prepped but still have to get things out etc and bake a couple of things.

And get changed. I have an hour before chaos starts but having a quiet moment before taking the plunge now.
