It was heartbreaking to see Mel so upset after Layton chose not to come back to the apartment. It shows how strong her feelings for him are as I get the impression she wouldn’t normally like to show vulnerability. I think Layton was pretty taken aback and wasn’t expecting such a strong reaction from her.

It annoys me that when Brontë was saying how secure her relationship is why people don’t remind her that Harrison finished with her by text a week ago!

When Layton refused to come back it's a shame the producers didn't say to Mel, hey Alyssa's just refused to stay with Duncan too, why don't you and Dunc go out for the evening 😂

Mel was so upset and Layton was just being a stubborn git refusing to come back until it was on his terms. Mel must really like him because I wouldn't have been there when he came back.

I think the partner swap ixperiment was useful for a couple of people. I think it helped Lyndall to see that others were properly living as a couple and how it can be normal to talk to one another without Cam getting upset (Ollie was adorable). Also for Duncan to see that the early days should be about having fun together (never mind Duncan, think I want to 'marry' Evelyn 😂). Think the producers were trying to make this clear to them. However they were definitely shit stirring with the M&L/B&H swap! 🤣

It's lovely to see how emotionally mature both Rupert & Ollie are, and not sucked in by some of the crappy lad tactics.

Some have remarked on Layton's comment about Mel's loose morals; I don't think it was so much about her readiness to do a partner swap, rather that she did a very sudden volte face about how there was no way she was going to spend any time with Harrison/absolutely hated him, to suddenly being completely ok with going ahead with the ixperiment. I did wonder if it was because she was going to put laxatives/rat poison in Harrison's drinks! 😂

Loved the way the only shot of Shannon was of him eating really messily and utterly grossly.

I hope Mel and Layton work it out, I think she should have been pleased he didn’t want to spend the night with another woman, he managed to do the activities anyway, there was no need for any of them to move out.
