If I were Duncan I would be at my wits end, poor bloke.

He’s done everything possible to have mature, open conversations with Alyssa to understand how she feels, what he can do to reassure her, agree on communication methods, compromise etc and all the time he’s received NOTHING in terms of reassurance from her.

He’s done all the compromising, supporting, understanding, (when he shouldn’t have even had to as he’s done nothing wrong) Meanwhile he’s had ZERO back from her. No support, no reassurance, no compromise. Just irrational mood swings and getting everything he does thrown back in his face.

Mel is her own worst enemy.
I understand completely why Layton felt totally undermined and unsupported. Mel showed no self control in front of Harrison.
She's really good at seeing through other people's bullshit (and I applaud her for speaking out) but seems really lacking in both empathy for Layton and self reflection.

Alyssa is beyond hard work. Poor Duncan.
