Just showing my ticket to the inspector on the Le Creuset express 😃🚂🍳

DrMeredithGrey2023 · 19/04/2023 00:28

Am I the only one who didn't realise Alyssa had a child until last week?! And now she can't even open her mouth without mentioning it.

I never picked it up before.

Nineandahalfonabadday · 19/04/2023 01:01

Tbh I think she forgot she had one too. That's why she has to continuously remind us herself that she does! 😂

Nineandahalfonabadday · 19/04/2023 01:02

Ooh strikethrough didn't work on us! 🤣

Rummikub · 19/04/2023 02:49

Duncan should stop being so amenable as Alyssa isn’t responding to his efforts. She is a sulker and her expectations are ridiculous.

AnyaMarx · 19/04/2023 03:13

Alyssa is actually pissing me off with the whole "you'll never understand " crap

He appears to understand perfectly. You don't have to have a biological child to parent either and Duncan appears well able enough to join a family . Or even have his own .

She appears to be taking some moral high ground but having a baby doesn't make you a great mother or father - she's actually an idiot .
I think if she carries on hurting him he would be well within his rights to walk . He's lovely . Seems very genuine.

AnyaMarx · 19/04/2023 03:14

I also loved the photos 😇

determinedtomakethiswork · 19/04/2023 03:22

It was really lovely to see Duncan looking so playful and relaxed. He normally has a really hunted expression on his face.

Rummikub · 19/04/2023 03:46

I thought that too about how Evelyn brought out his goofy playful side. I’ve only seen him look serious or earnest around Alyssa. Alyssa was being a Harrison. I want to say worse as Duncan is so lovely and bronte is not. Bronte’s delight at telling Leyton she thought a relationship with Mel would be hard work

How cute was tahnee and ollie’s flat- all the little touches of playing house!

happinessischocolate · 19/04/2023 07:11

I didn't think Layton looked convinced when Bronte was talking about gas lighting etc, I though he looked disappointed, as though he was thinking I'm not going to get genuine feedback here.

I'm therefore surprised at the footage showing him refusing to go back into their room. Hopefully the producers are making it a bigger deal than it actually is.

@Floofydawg

I wasn't aware I have actually given anything away. Just a hint maybe??

Deathraystare · 19/04/2023 07:15

After the shit shower is over go to you tube and type in Teary tell-all with Harrison Boon. Don't do it now for goodness sake!.

It is by SIt with Us who happen to be 2 ex MFS Aus - Dom and Ella and is very entertaining.

Hints not allowed either - it really was a spoiler.

But we don't want or need hints (or spoilers) if anyone wants to know more, we're more than capable of googling ourselves.

ZeroFuchsGiven · 19/04/2023 07:51

Wll Im very disappointed in Mel after watching that.

DeathWinsAGolfish · 19/04/2023 08:17

A bit late to the party, only started watching last week, encouraged by DDs.
I think I may be allowed to join as we have a good stash of Le Creuset, although not all matching colours.
Can I ask, why is Mel called sexpest?

There were 2 Mels at the start. One is still in (Layton's wife) and she was known here as 9.5 for a long time as that's how she rated herself.

The other was was quite simply obsessed with sex who ruined any hope of a decent relationship with her obsession. And presumably mortified her children in the process by being on the programme!

Alyssa was apparently on Judge Judy many years ago & Judge Judy called her stupid, I guess some things never change!!!!!!

@RegainingTheWill2023 ah, thank you!

Rollergirl11 · 19/04/2023 09:11

Alyssa is so utterly lacking in self awareness it’s actually infuriating. When Duncan questioned was he just supposed to wait whilst giving her space and time and she replied incredulously well yes obviously! She doesn’t appear to comprehend that she is giving Duncan zilch in return. It’s a two way street which is exactly what the ixperts told her at the commitment ceremony. Fallen on deaf ears clearly because it’s all about HER and her needs. Trotting out the “I have a child” line before bursting in to tears at every opportunity just makes her look unhinged.

MelsMoneyTree · 19/04/2023 09:54

Alyssa struggles with the concept that Duncan would be ok not being her priority because she wants to be his. Her hierarchy means there is her DC (don't know if anyone has noticed that she has one!) ; then her; then Duncan. I think she'd struggle to accept that so assumes Duncan must struggle with it too.

I was surprised her DC was so young. I can't imagine leaving a 3-yr-old for that long to go on a dating show. Maybe guilt is feeding into her self-sabotaging. Either way, Duncan should write leave. Alyssa is making no attempt to deal with her issues and no-one else can fix them for her.

mateysmum · 19/04/2023 10:26

My sympathy for Bronte has gone. I know Harrison is a master manipulator (and a vile human being) so gave Bronte leeway for thinking he was genuine, but her performance with Leyton really put me off. Either she really has swallowed the whole Harrison world view completely or she is also a manipulator and gaslighter.
I'm loving Ollie more and more, so funny and normal. Love the way he and Tahnee have made their flat cosy, like a real home and very telling that Cam and Lyndall have never cooked a meal together.
Loved the Duncan and Evelyn vibe.....

Prinnny · 19/04/2023 10:37

Boys and girls night should be good! Alyssa is a nightmare, she’s giving Harry and Brontë a run for villain of the show!

I don’t think Evelyn is that into Rupert, they won’t go the distance same as Cam and Lyndell. I’m team Layton, Mel should have backed him like he always backs her.

AllHopeandRainbows · 19/04/2023 11:47

“VooVooV · Yesterday 20:09
This is so obvious it a ‘production’ twist
It’s nothing to help the couples’ relationships.
And Mel & Layton are playing right into Harrison’s hands. Idiots.”

(Tried to quote this on the last thread but it ran out)
I came here to say the exact same thing as above.
Don’t get me wrong - I am here for the drama of putting Mel & Harrison in a small space for 3 days and seeing what will happen 😂 (I predict some kind of weird love/hate sexual tension type atmosphere)
BUT watching the experts try to explain that it’s for the healthy development of their relationships is ridiculous 🙄
