So a few plot lines resolved

The realistic reaction to Zack was from Linda regarding Nancy. She had a genuine reason to be worried about her daughter. She didn’t overreact but did ask him if Nancy knew and had been tested.
I felt sorry for Billy but really wanted him to stop shouting at Lola as though it was her fault. He is making it even more difficult for her

That scene in the pub, where they reacted negatively to hearing that Zack had HIV, seemed unrealistic to me. Do people really think that about HIV these days?
Especially unlikely that they then all suddenly changed their minds within about 10 minutes.
I know it was just a dramatic device, but I thought it was poorly done.

The Zack actor was on the one show saying that people have actually refused to shake his hand irl because of the storyline.

I liked that it was nugget who schooled Ravi in it, make sense to me that the youngsters are more clued up on this stuff and when they’re not, they google it on their phones rather than make outdated judgements on what they’ve heard in the past etc

I wouldn't. I know the character has been through a lot, but him and his dad are both entitled twunts who trample on other people constantly. They do like to drag out the troubled self destructing Ben every now and then, but I think it's right that they revisit his rape storyline as you dont just get over that in a matter of months.

I'm not keen on the boxing gym with its postage stamp boxing ring. I preferred the gym, which is more realistic, but I think it's a storyline to keep an ageing Phil going.

Think lexi needs to be recast. She's normally okay but yesterday she was shrieking so much my ears hurt.

They need to calm down with Ben having depressive storylines. The actors gets tired out and then leave.

Billy was such an idiot making it all about him when all Lola wanted was comfort.

Really enjoyed seeing nuggets mature side in schooling his father. Don't mind if he stays if he's got the right side of his head screwed on. Feel a bit sorry for there kids having to play the parent for their immature parents.

Cherry. Nancy did come back for a while last year and had a proper love affair with Zack. It was really sweet , for a while anyway. She worked in the gym.
She is divorced from Tamwar and he is still in NZ or somewhere.
It went wrong ( all to do with Janine and Linda ) when they were scammed out of money they had earmarked for a new restaurant they were going to run together by Janine who framed Linda to make her look the baddie. They lost a lot of money over it all. Zack then slept with sam Mitchell.
Nancy went off and they split up.
I assume Nancy knows the truth now, but hasn't returned even though her dad is still missing etc.

How would the adoption work? They said that Ben would still be dad, so are they planning for Lola to give up PR? How would that make sense for Hay to adopt if she does?

Lola isn't going to be around soon. Ben is Lexi's bio dad and Jay is her mum's husband (widower) and Lexi's stepdad. So they could be joint parents which would make sense for her in case anything happened to one of them. Seems sensible. But this is EE and Ben Mitchell.

If Lola gives up PR. Would a court let Jay adopt? His being step dad is the only link to Lexie, and he has only been a step dad for a few months, it's not like he has been a parental figure for most of Lexie's life. Arguably if she needs a second , more stable parent when Lola is gone, wouldn't Callum be a better option?

Ben and Callum hardly stable long term parents material. Callus has no link to Lexie at all. Once Lola is gone I guess the courts would ask Lexi her view.

I was cheering Kim on at first for suggesting that Howie moves out if he can't forgive her.
I ( assume) they are back on track now , but the cynic in me thinks that maybe he is hedging his bets because he hasn't anywhere for him and Denzil to actually go! He was a bit ambiguous there even if he is willing to give it another try. He didn't actually say ' I forgive you '
He has done wrong in the past as well.
It was an odd exchange and I like Howie and Kim as a couple and I totally understand his initial anger ( of course )

Good point re Sharon's surname ! She had the marriage to Ian Beale annulled, so I doubt she is Beale ?

I'll have to have a look at the credits to see how she is listed next time it's on.

I think Keanu organised the Vicar so he probably didn't realise. I vaguely remember him I had to Google him he's aged differently whereas Sharon has aged but looks the same.

Duncan the vicar was a sweet man.
Den and Angie were surprised Sharon dated him and they did become engaged ( I think I'm correct )
Can't remember what happened next or why they split, but it was a long long time ago now.

Apparently she is still listed as "Sharon Watts".

According to Eastenders wiki on fandom.com:

"Ian Beale asked Sharon for an annulment when he went missing and her name changed back to Watts on 12/02/21"

So, you're right, you'd think Duncan would have twigged!
