Think he did speak to Debbie on the phone, however presumably the nurse held it to Debbies ear, just so she could hear his voice and of course it was a one way conversation?

I expect theres a Lidl or Aldi around the corner, but the Walford force field would stop anyone going there.. same as when anyone needs a job!

All I could think during the Debbie-Reiss-Sonia scenes was that I hope to God the poor woman wasn't still able to hear and understand what was going on around her.

You would think he'd pick up his spanners and earn a fair wage. The taxi job is clearly not as lucrative if they are relying on Felix and Finley for financial help for the council tax and Karen and Bernie both work too. F and F have bills at Chelsea's place to find too.
I know there is a cost of living crisis etc , but they shouldn't be as skint as they are , unless I'm missing something here ?

I'm surprised Super nurse Sonia didn't bring Debbie round just by popping her head round the door

I was wondering if Debbie would suddenly crash and Suoer Sonia would have rolled up her sleeves and resuscitated her single handedly.

Sonia could have ' laid hands ' on Reiss's wife and she could have woken up saying ' who are you ?'
Of course she would be all healed within weeks and round Sonia's for a show down. Fighting for custody of the trombone.

I bet that Alfie gets together with Linda by the end of this year. Only a guess, but they do get on well and he has a certain charm.

@the80sweregreat it's weird how the scrip writers gently end up changing how you see things isn't it , weird and great because I'm the same as you now I could totally get behind Alfie and Linda , I think they would work great yet a few months ago I couldn't see it at all
