I've seen the spoiler for Rhona's ex husband. It really is the most ridiculous story to bring in with everything else going on and totally unrelated to any other character. At least when Marcus turned up on her doorstep he had a genuine back story and ended up involved with a villager.

I'd rather they introduced Callum's mum. Or that lovely B&B owner that we all took a liking to when Paddy was staying in her B&B.

@ScattyHattie no reason whatsoever was given for Callum being released on bail. We shouldn't be surprised as lots of things keep happening for no reason at all.

And talking of Callum being released. The phone call that Leyla took was absolute shit. She said hello then 2 seconds later said something like oh no then put the phone down. There is no way it would have taken just 2 seconds to inform a victim that the person who tried to kill her has been released. Even the actors can't be arsed to keep up the pretence.

if Callum gets a good lawyer (ask Caleb) he might get off because he's looking after his poor old mum and then when he finally got a night out he was "falsely" accused of being a drug dealer and arrested, then taunted by his accuser and he just snapped under the mental strain and took her hostage. And his gun was just a novelty lighter.

I can't bear thinking how sad Robron are now, Robert all alone in prison and Aaron mourning Liv and cut off from his family thanks to Chas

And don't forget Non Nurse Wendy has her part to play in all of it when it transpired Luke potentially dealt the blow that killed Lee. I'm still very very angry about that. And she's still swanning about the village and the hospital and appears to have nothing to do with grandson Harry who she was practically stalking at one point.
