Did Charles not pick up some of the tablets Alex dropped that day when he was chasing him through the village? How much bloody evidence do they need against him. They could find forensic evidence linked to Alex on Charles car quick enough . How about checking the pharmacy van that he clambered all through looking for the drugs he wanted!
