Whatever is going on with Nicky/Caleb and anybody else who crawls out of the woodwork, it probably won't be resolved until Christmas in true Emmerdale dragging it out style.

I think nicky has a back story. I'm guessing it involves caleb as they arrived around the same time and both have eyes and ears on home farm.

I think so too. Nicky made some comment about trust when Caleb caught him and Gabby out - it seemed weird considering they supposedly barely know each other.

As a single mum, with very little practical support, I'm quite often offered jobs with part time, flexible hours after someone is eavesdropping on me in a cafe. Happens all the time.

And do you say “Ooh, but what if my baby gets sick? Or misses me? Or needs the dentist even though she hasn’t got any teeth? I just don’t know…” even though just moments before you were contemplating taking on a full-time job? 😁

The surname thing for Nicky makes sense in theory but Kim and Gabby would know his surname as his employer so surely it can't suddenly turn out to be significant!
