New Taskmaster- anyone watching?

I know he's controversial but I do love Frankie Boyle...

The live task was brilliant, there was so much cut out of it that was hilarious.

Another bit that was cut out was when Alex mentioned 'all that I want is another baby' Frankie piped up saying that Ace of Bass were fascists and there was a very long and funny discussion about that.

I'm still not a fan of Mae - I thought they were terrible on LOL Canada, and this hasn't improved my opinion. I also don't like Ivo - to me, he's a cut price Jack Whitehall without the charm and likeability.

Jenny however is living her absolute best life and I've fallen a bit in love with Kiell.

My favourite live task is still Jo Brand being a mind-reader. Just caught up on the latest episode and so glad Kiell shone. The live task was brilliant esp in light of Jenny's tweets. I love how much Jenny and Frankie are just in the moment and enjoying the tasks. Taskmaster is amazing for making people come across as likeable as really personable.

I am really enjoying this series. I did wonder whether Alex comes up with these tasks where he has to eat the dodgy stuff or whether his team come up with the task and he has to go along.

DH bumped into Jenny Eclair today, out with her tiny grandson, also as seen on Taskmaster. She was apparently properly lovely, chatting to everyone she met, and exactly as she is on TV. We also keep spotting Greg, who lives nearby.

I'm going to a taskmaster night at my friends house and I cannot wait! Although I am worried that I'm going to get carried away with myself while playing 😂😂

I know Jenny and can agree with @YesThisIsMe that she is indeed very lovely and very similar in real life to what you see on Taskmaster. I've loved this series.

I would love to get the game but two of my kids have disabilities that affect their mobility and I believe some need you to go outside. Such a shame as my eldest especially would love it as she loves watching the show with me.

If it helps, we're basically playing an edited version of the game - I gave the game to my friend, and they have went through and picked out the tasks in advance that we're going to do, and prepped for them. The tasks are split into garden / kitchen / living room etc so you don't need to do the garden ones if that will be an issue!

We did a Taskmaster night over zoom, during lockdown, with DS and wife, in Portugal. We picked out tasks that I could do, mainly in the living room, kitchen and bedroom. It was a brilliant night. There were 5 of us and my OH was the Taskmaster. I didn’t win, so no bias there!

Very pleased to hear that Jenny is no different off camera. 😊

I was at the filming last night - it was so much fun, very surreal to be there and just a brilliant night. It was the final though so a bit weird that I know the winner of the next series! Genuinely loved it, really worth going.

I’m loving Ivo in this series, I’d only seem him on house of games before. Him and Frankie doing the team task was fab, he just knew Frankie had got it wrong.

They felt like a good mix (particularly one person who is a favourite of mine) but as I said before, I generally like everyone on Taskmaster anyway - I even liked Iain Stirling 😁 Looking forward to the series even if I do know who wins!

We will find out who in 4 weeks anyway 😊
