Me either. The scoring this series has been particularly poor. I also thought it was a bit mean when Mae said they didn't like the team tasks.

That final task was incredibly unfair! And I don’t think I’ll ever get the image of Frankie pole dancing at Greg out of my mind 🤮

I was absolutely on Kiell's side over the 'a picture of a pineapple is not a pineapple' question.... and then he used a picture of some bread instead of real bread on the umbrella task.

The bread was largely irrelevant to the task though.

I'm on the fence with the drawn pineapples. They were just as much pineapples as a candy floss pineapple but I absolutely think Ivo was robbed.

the team task had me giggling like a loon. I want to play that at a party!

really going off Mae now. Mean to talk like that about the others. Too good at tasks but not funny or engaging about it, just smug. And the scoring has been awful. Kiell consistently undermarked, but also some of the others, and still loads of all-or-nothing scoring.

I didn't find tonight as enjoying as some episodes though

Mae seems to receive disproportionately high scores for things that aren’t particularly funny or clever.

Ivo deserved the highest parks on the pineapple task

I’m so meh about this series. My ambivalence to Ivo and Mae has turned to utter dislike. Both of them are smug and just not funny at all.

I never thought I would say this, but FB is really funny. he really does not care.
Mae is not a team player. their face when they think someone is getting more points gives them away.
why didn't Ivo just take all the hidden pineapples?

I don't think Ivo is smug. I mean, he has very little to be smug about really. Mae absolutely is though.

I don't mind Mae's comment about the team tasks. I think most people find it frustrating in a team setting when they know what the best method is. I think it was mean of the editing team to put that part in actually.

I've been pleasantly surprised at Frankie. I've only ever heard the worst bits about him and of his comedy but in this he"s been great. Clearly doesn't give a fuck but is enjoying it all nonetheless.

According to the podcast he offered to do the "faking his own death" scene in the nude. Probably not a great idea in broad daylight on a busy Twickenham towpath so I can see why they vetoed it, but would have been even funnier.

I think my issue with Ivo is that he doesn't seem to be genuine. I always feel like he's reading a script that he's prepared in advance - case in point, the way he presented his prize in the prize task last night.

Now I get that they are comedians, and they find their best ways to talk about their reasons in a funny way in advance. But he just seems so scripted, as if someone else wrote it for him and he was trying to remember it. Quite frankly, when he's not on screen I completely forget about him entirely.

Mae I agree is taking the whole thing too seriously. They clearly don't like it when someone else gets more points.

Perhaps the contrast is made greater by the sheer joy of Jenny, who is clearly loving every single second and we are literally watching someone live her best life! Shes batshit but in a delightful way. Without her and Kiell to be honest, I would have turned this series off.

I think my biggest issue is that last series was just so good, and to me, this one hasn't compared

Was roaring with laughter at the magnet getting stuck. And at all of Kiell's facial expressions.

I'm really not liking Mae at all - agree with PPs that they're taking things far too seriously and being scored disproportionately highly. I love all the others, though, especially Jenny for her pure joy!

I’ve still not warmed to Mae. Didn’t like her from the beginning & she hasn’t won me round. Most definitely overmarked as well.

Loving the rest though. I’ve met Ivo a few times & he’s the same even in relaxed company. Jenny seems an absolute joy, and Kiell has added real fun to this series. I thought I’d like Frankie but been pleasantly surprised by how much, and also how softly spoken he actually is. I also love the fact that he clearly doesn’t want to win, but is having fun deliberately failing.

Yes Jenny is just loving it. Frankie is doing it for his children and having fun as well. KSB is on his own planet - as is Ivo but Ivo isn't funny with it. I think that might be what sticks out with Ivo and Mae - neither seems to be having any fun. Or perhaps it's that the other three are enjoying it far more.

I thought that the others seemed quite hurt by Mae’s stating that they didn't like working with them in team tasks. And rightly so, I gasped when they said it; it just seemed so out of kilter with the normal, generous spirit of the show.

I am still loving Kiell and Frankie in particular, and Jenny is so lovely - like a big sister who is always mad and fun. TM works best when everyone really throws themselves in and they don’t care about whether they look foolish or get stuff wrong. Mae seems so studied and takes it all too seriously for me to really enjoy watching them.

It was meant to be a joke, I think? Just obviously fell a bit flat. We didn’t think they meant it for one minute. Mae seems to be very good friends with Kiell and they have a bit of a mock rivalry thing going on on Insta. They’re clearly very competitive and a bit anxious, but I really like them.
live kind of gone in reverse. First episode I loved Ivo, and found the others a bit meh. Now loving the others, esp Kiell, and I find Ivo irritating and needy. Frankie has been a surprise - when you strip away the sarcasm and knobbishness, he can actually be very funny.

I don't mind Mae but they are incredibly earnest, which can grate a bit. Ivo has shades of Mark Watson, I think. I like his stand up ( Ivo's) but his natural good manners are holding him back. The handcuff task is a case in point.

Frankie I've always liked, Jenny is an absolute joy to watch and Kiel's facial expressions are just so tremendously funny. His toddler like outrage is quite adorable.

I don't understand the need for team tasks as the last task when more people is always going to tip into unfair advantage. I would have like to have seen Jenny and Frankie together.
