I'm liking it so far, really interesting to see how they respond to peer pressure and temptation!

I agree what is interesting about people being pious not giving in and just getting the money.

I agree with Carolynne (Nanna), that it should be about the whole experience and not just about the greed of winning money. If she, or anyone else, wants a safari experience she should have it. As she said, she is 65, so may never get the opportunity again or feel up to it health-wise.

I always think that programmes like Race Across the World is as much about the journey and experiencing the country as seeing the inside of buses. It would be a dull programme if no one took the treats/had the work experiences/saw the sights rather than by-passing them in haste.

Watching now, I'm not sure on it as it feels one temptation after another and that's basically it, but i can see it being entertaining with seeing the prices of the temptations and the reactions to taking them.

It just doesn't feel polished.

Also, not really a leader just a tall man who can walk fast so gets to places quickest BUT he doesn't help or encourage the weakest person in the group

Yeah, I'm behind and just seen Lena/Lani( sp?) Take the hot chocolate. She seems to want to do it just to upset the rest of the camp and with her talking about taking it in the dark I can't help but think the others should have been able to hear her.

I dont think they should take all temptations and think there was some need for a few to take the spa more than others, but on the preview for the next episode the guys celebrating that they're unbreakable seems stupid to me. If others are being tempted and you're martyring yourself, you're only hurting yourself for pride whilst they're spending your money

James is so annoying but, no one has a back bone to argue with him. Thank goodness they are splitting the groups.

As they're already on day 5 or 6 I don't see this being a long programme.

I think Carolynne(?) Has the right idea that if the safari stuff comes up to take it as it doesn't happen often and would cost her a lot more.

I agree with the safari stuff from granny that's different, However lani taking that hot chocolate and not even drinking it all was not on especially as some people in there might really need that money and if she ends up walking away it will cost the group a lot more than 25k.

I like this programme but can't believe how selfish (and loud) Lani is. She would really irritate me.

I would want to slap her she's another one with her tits out in order to make some money.

Does anyone know at the end of it does the cash pot have to be split equally? If so then I think that changes it as its then selfish to take the treats. However if Lani can take off what she has spent from hers, allowing someone who hasn't spent anything to take their whole share then its not a problem.
She is very annoying though.
